We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Woolacombe. The onsite facilities were excellent and really added to the experience. The apartment itself was spotless, modern, and very well presented, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day out. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and genuinely one of the best we’ve had — very thoughtful and much appreciated. The location is ideal too, just a short 4-minute walk to Woolacombe Beach, which made getting in and out incredibly easy. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

All relevant check-in information, as well as details about the apartment and parking, was provided well in advance. Overall, this penthouse apartment was exactly as expected—lovely, clean, and contemporary. Extra utensils were readily available, the beds were comfortable, and the en-suites were especially nice. I also wanted to mention that access to the leisure facilities was a major advantage and definitely added to the overall stay The property manager was very helpful, providing clear guidance on locating the apartment and promptly resolving an electrical issue once notified. Highly recommend!

Our stay was everything we thought it would be having seen the photos and descriptions. The balcony was larger than we initially thought. The apartment was well soundproofed. All appliances were of an excellent standard. The area was beautiful. Samuel has provided a good selection of information to browse on local attractions, eateries, etc. We will definitely be returning next year.

A super place to stay right in the centre of Woolacombe. The apartment was great with everything we needed. Also bonus was the onsite pool for the kids. Would highly recommend!

Great stay as always. We've stayed in this apartment on a number of previous occasions and it suits our needs perfectly. Nothing much to add having previously reviewed this except to say that the staff are very affable, the apartment is always clean, the location is perfect for all local amenities and the "welcome" hamper is a nice touch.

My Mother and I stayed in a second floor apartment for a long weekend in October.
The apartment looked very welcoming. It was clean and modern with a generous array of gadgets to use for cooking and entertainment.
Beautiful coastal views with outside balcony.
An added welcome was the luxury hamper full of Devon treats.
Room enough for a Mother and Daughter having their own rooms and bathrooms.
Considering my Mum is nearly 90 years old the lift access was a plus point for access to the apartment. The shower in the unsuite was ideal for her.
Tea and coffee and sugar and a half litre of milk was provided.
Hand wash in bathrooms and kitchen with a good amount of paper towel and cling film.

We've been coming to Woolacombe almost every year for twenty years and Rockham 2 was the best of all properties!
Excellent location - very comfortable - lots of thought has gone into the furnishings and equipment. The welcome hamper was amazing! The outside private and secluded terrace was lovely.

The apartment is so conveniently situated for Woolacombe Beach, just a few minutes walk away. It was beautifully decorated and the kitchen well equipped. Although we didn't have sea views, the good outside space was a bonus, as was having both a bath and shower. The hosts made us feel very welcome with a wonderful hamper of local produce. We would definitely consider staying there again.

: Our first stay in this apartment (but not our first time at Byron). We had fantastic time; the great weather helped but the apartment was like 'home from home' well equipped, comfortable and with stunning views from the balcony. A great place to relax and enjoy time by the sea. We used the pool and sauna too which is always welcome after a busy day exploring the surrounding area and, of course, the sea!. Thank you. We are already looking forward to our return in 2026.

We had a lovely stay in Woolacombe, close in to beach and shops. Fun learning to navigate the complex as husband uses a mobility scooter we needed the lifts.The staff were very helpful, we had an issue which was ongoing but they worked hard at putting it right. We would definitely return to the holiday apartments again. Thank you.

We were really pleased with our stay in Byron. Putsborough 1 far exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, well equipped (washer/dryer/ dishwasher) and great for anyone with a dog (ground floor / small courtyard) Bedrooms were of an excellent size with plenty storage and 2 bathrooms was a bonus. WiFi was really good too. The welcome gift was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. All staff were very helpful and pleasant.

We've stayed at Byron many times and have always found the apartments to be superb. They are brilliantly equipped and finished to a very high standard. Cleanliness on arrival is extremely good. We always enjoy using the pool every day. Location of there apartments is fantastic, just a few minutes from the fabulous beach, and several excellent restaurants and bars. The Owners of Putsborough provided us with hamper of really nice 'goodies' which was a very nice surprise

: We really enjoyed our stay. The standard of the apartment was excellent- beautiful decor and very well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful in sorting out any issues and offering advice on local restaurants etc The parking was very convenient and offered easy access to the accommodation when loading and unloading the car. The whole experience had been expertly thought through and made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable

Lovely, well equipped apartment with fabulous sea view. Close to the village centre, shops and beach. Lovely hamper of snacks plus biscuits, tea, coffee and milk were a great start to our holiday after a long journey.

Just back from a lovely break in Woolacombe. The apartment was very modern, clean , well equipped with the added bonus of being within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Really appreciated the hamper that the owners gifted on arrival, delicious local produce. The facilities on site are really good and booking system easy to navigate. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Great communication throughout booking process. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Beautiful apartment and generous welcome pack, which was a really nice touch. Apartment had everything you could need for a stay, and close to the car park. Very modern and clean, and an ideal location close to the bars/beach of Woolacombe. Great to have a secure car park and be able to use the facilities on site.

We all found this apartment emaculate on arrival as we looked round there was a loverly little hamper to start our holiday fantastic as we looked round more there was every thing you needed for our holiday . The apartment was very warm even in September washer dryer very handy all round tv in bedroom and living room lovely views as you Look over the balcony very nice as well dog friendly too. well done owner of 4 puts love it here thanks dor a brilliant stay we shall be back .

Message: The apartment was beautiful. Very clean and spacious. The balcony was amazing. Generally very well equipped. The dishwasher was such a bonus along with the wine fridge which chilled water much better than the fridge :). The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Lovely comfortable apartment. Spotlessly clean and everything provided that you could possibly need. Bed was very comfortable and perfect location right on the seafront. We really appreciated the generous welcome pack. Our apartment had a large enclosed terrace which was great for our dog. Sadly the positioning meant the sun never shone into it but much better than a balcony if you have a dog. Very good heated pool and sauna which we used a couple of times during our stay. Bookable EV charging which we also used which meant we were able to have the car topped up before we left. Really good allocated parking underneath the apartments. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Would we stay again? Yes definitely! We loved the area and visited some lovely places. We were very lucky with the weather which helped. If you are looking for somewhere in this lovely part of Devon, with plenty of nice walks, a truly amazing beach, and plenty of places to explore and visit then I'd definitely recommend staying in a Byron apartment.

Spotlessly clean, we arrived and we had coffee, tea, fresh milk in the fridge and even a bag of dog treats in the kitchen. Lovely peaceful and quiet. In the cupboard in the bedroom was a travel cot, a highchair, picnic blankets, a picnic basket, little ball games for the beach, a shopping trolley, a hairdryer, hoover, iron, games to play in the living room drawers ..... a complete gem of a place. The bed was comfortable too. There was even a fan in the bedroom.

The accommodation was excellent. It was a really clean and well equipped apartment. The location is great for access to the beach at only a 5 minute walk. The on site pool and sauna is a bonus too. I'll definitely return.

Great apartment with huge balcony & stunning views. The development itself is really good (indoor pool) with the front desk staff always helpful. Brilliant location with the Main Street literally opposite the front entrance. Thanks for the gorgeous welcome hamper and lovely leaving gift which were such a nice touch. We stop at the Byron two or three times a year and always really enjoy it. The "Welcome" hamper is a really nice touch. 4 Putsborough is an apartment we've stopped in on a number of occasions and will be using again in October. It suits our needs perfectly and on our most recent visit we took the grandchildren who were very happy there. More generally, we've found all the apartments we've used to be of a good standard although some are better equipped than others. Finally and worthy of note - all the reception team are very friendly and amenable.

We loved the apartment and had a lovely relaxing stay there. It was spotless on arrival, including all the kitchenware. It has everything you need. There was milk in the (very clean) fridge, and the welcome kit was an unexpected delight. Beautiful view of the hills and beach when you are inside the sitting area, as well as on the balcony. Super comfy beds and bedding. Everything is so easy and convenient at Byron. Staff are very helpful. We had such a happy stay, thank you!

Everything was lovely, good location for the beach. We had a 13 and 15 year old with us they loved using the pool on the days we could not surf but wish the booking system was available to see online to be able to book. Amazingly Dog friendly.

Wonderful views from the two terraces. Some Noise from the bar opposite. General Living space quite small for a family of 4 and a dog. No cupboard space for our food etc. Lovely welcome hamper. Beds comfortable

We had a fantastic stay at Challacombe... the apartment is spacious and very well equipped. Great to have a gym, pool and games room. Lots of thought has gone into what guests need for a beach holiday, having an outdoor shower and beach shed made such a difference. The staff are ever so polite and helpful... would 100% recommend!

Thank you for a fantastic stay. Woolacombe is absolutely beautiful and the apartment was absolute ideal for our mix of teenage, young adults and adults. The games room was great and gave extra evening entertainment. Booking the pool and gym was easy and the reception team were delightful. We appreciated the welcome pack and the attentiveness of the staff. The easy to follow instructions for or arrival were great. Thank you for the offer of the additional parking... A must for an apartment this size. The extra touches were not missed on us. The thick fluffy towels, plenty of bedding all excellent. The kitchen essentials such as cling film, tin foil, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, bin liners. All really helpful.

Excellent! Beautiful and clean. Grateful for the welcome hamper lovely touch. The little extra made all the difference the milk, dishwasher tablets , dishwasher liquid,bin bags. Very impressed with the check in process. All information provided was easy to follow. Car park was okay, can be a little tight for larger vehicles. Pleased with the apartment. Was clean on arrival. Lovely welcome tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Also a bonus was having toilet rolls provided. It’s the little things. Also the dishwasher tablets were a helpful addition. We didn’t get round to using the facilities apart from the pool table. The weather was nice, so we were mainly outdoors. Outdoor shower was good. Washed our wetsuits before taking them back to the apartment. Lots of games provided. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.

We booked this apartment at very short notice and were extremely pleased with the location, facilities and standard of accommodation. The location is just above the seafront and a fairly short walk to the beach. Woolacoombe is hilly so be prepared for some good short climbs up and down. Our arrival communication was excellant and we were impressed with the standard of the building and our apartment. Putsborough 8 had plenty of space, a great balcony and everything you could need to have an enjoyable holiday. The building, facilities and apartments were spotless and well maintained

Had an amazing stay at 11 putsborough. Apartment was clean, welcoming and fully kit out for a family stay. We were very impressed with our welcome basket, milk in fridge waiting for us and a few household produces to keep us going. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of care into making sure guests feel at home. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing — it was all so easy and stress-free. Our experience was superb. It is a wonderful apartment and the service was great. We loved the fact that you left milk, black bags, washing up liquids and essentials. The manager on site was lovely. We absolutely loved the apartment. It was super clean and felt new. The two balconies with a sea and Mountain View make it extra special and we loved the welcome hamper. we had a wonderful time staying at 10 Woolacombe west the apartment was lovely with wonderful views of the sea,,and it was great using you’re wonderful swimming pool, so sorry that I left some shorts and tops in the drawers in the bedroom must have forgot to check, but we had amazing holiday especially being so near the beach.

We felt right at home in the apartment and with a big family (6 people) and a dog it is just what was needed. Great location meant we did not drive all week as we had brilliant weather and lived on the beach and in the swimming pool all week. Locally we walked a lot of the trails to take in the beautiful countryside surrounding Woolacombe. The kids had such a brilliant week we will definitely plan to return!!

: From arrival and collecting the keys and finding our parking spot it was very easy. The location was perfect and the apartment was like home it had everything and more we needed and was spotless The view we had was beautiful. We used the indoor pool a few times and booking this was easy and the team responded very quickly. We are definitely booking again for next year.

We loved staying in the apartment, proximity to the beach, car parking, space both inside the apartment & outside was perfect. Staff on the front desk were always very helpful, thoroughly recommend the apartment.

Spotlessly clean , lovely bathrooms and very comfy beds. Being able to bring the dogs was brilliant. Ground floor flat with patio doors onto a patio area Literally 5 mins from the beach. This is the third stay we have had in this apartment and everything was perfect as usual. We especially liked the hamper that was left for us as that was a nice surprise. We’ve just returned from the most wonderful family holiday in Woolacombe, and I simply had to leave a review! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely unbeatable — just a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach, which meant we could nip down with the grandchildren without any fuss. And the views of Woolacombe Bay from the apartment? Honestly, I don’t think you’ll find better anywhere in town. We sat out on the balcony most evenings with a glass of wine just watching the waves roll in — pure bliss. Speaking of the balcony, the hot tub was an absolute hit! The kids were in there morning and night (I had a few turns myself, I’ll admit!), and it really made the whole experience feel like a luxury treat. We were welcomed with the most gorgeous hamper filled with goodies — such a lovely touch and really set the tone for the week. The concierge staff were just lovely: warm, helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Inside, the apartment was modern yet cosy, with stylish decor that still felt very homely. Everything was spotless, and there was loads of space for all of us to spread out comfortably. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds very comfy, and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed — including a wine fridge and a proper coffee machine, which was a lovely surprise! We’ve stayed in Woolacombe a few times over the years, but this has definitely been our favourite place yet. A real gem. We’ll be back for sure!

The penthouse apartment has incredible views of almost the whole beach, a stones throw distance to beautiful golden sand the apartment is clean, light, spacious and beautifully decorated with a calm nautical theme. Fully equipped with everything you need for a home away from home stay. The outside space is set up with sofas, sun loungers and dining table and chairs, best of all is the hot tub with a view! Byron has a pool and sauna for residents to use and underground parking. The whole building is beautifully kept and can’t wait to go back. Recommend the Sri Lankan curry takeaway on Barricance beach, take a blanket and some wine for a perfect dinner watching the sunset.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Byron's and as usual it was wonderful. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the view from the large balcony must be the best in Woolacombe, I'm missing it already. If you book slightly outside the main season the value is truly excellent. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, modern kitchen and large lounge with Sky TV, use of indoor pool and sauna and a free parking space all for price of a mid range B&B.

Great location for everything( beach, shops and restaurants). We chose this property for being on the ground floor with a patio area and not a balcony. The car park space is just by the staircase so unpacking and packing really quick. It was nice to have a hot shower to clean all the beach things at the base of the apartments. The apartment is modern and has everything you need

Apartment was everything we expected, clean modern and comfortable. We received a welcome pack which was delightful and delicious and milk was in the fridge ready for us. Also there was coffee sachets, sugar and tea bags too. Fans were provided for easy sleeping as well. Car parking was easy although it was a little tight to manoeuvre in and out of the designated space. Reception were able to offer us a different space in the time we were away.Would highly recommend this property , a good base to visit other places in North Devon and to enjoy the delights of Woolacombe.

Beautifully presented, so clean and great facilities! Received a really thoughtful hamper with treats and even Easter treats for the kids and treats for the dog! The apartment was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The swimming pool and sauna were great. So clean.

The apartment was fantastic, and the staff at reception were amazing and extremely helpful. Lovely spacious apartment for the four of us and the dog. Although we were only allowed one parking space, we were allowed to park the other car, which was very accommodating considering there is a lack of free parking in Woolacombe. The swimming pool and sauna were extremely clean, and our family enjoyed the swim. We would recommend Byron to our friends, and happily stay again should we visit Woolacombe in the future

Our stay at 3 Rockham exceeded our expectations! The apartment was spotlessly clean and hugely spacious and absolutely gorgeous. The welcome hamper was super generous and the Easter trays for the kids were very sweet. Booking the pool was very easy and we used it 4 times during our stay. The pool and sauna were great! The location of Byron was brilliant as we had the beach in our doorstep and could sew it from our apartment. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to visiting again!

Exceptional apartment Finished to a high standard.. Well furnished and everything you need for self-catering except for instructions for a convection hob!!! which we are not used to. Worked it out eventually!. The parking situation is excellent with an allocated space, which reduces the stress of having to find somewhere to park. The apartment is centrally situated for the beach, shops, and pubs/ restaurants. We didn't use the pool ect as we have a dog with us and can't be left. Full WiFi available also. Can highly recommend.

We had a fabulous 8 days holiday - the apartment is superb, finished to a very high standard & felt very homely. Great we could bring our dog too. It was lovely to sit on the balcony (south facing) & take in the fabulous sea & countryside views. Great location, so central and a stones throw from the beach. Having a designated parking bay is a huge bonus too. Many thanks for the lovely welcome pack - very generous ! Cant wait to come back!

This was an excellent stay. Great hosts who left a lovely welcome pack. Communication was great from the start and throughout the stay. The apartment is stunning with everything being high quality and very clean. The partial sea views are nice from the living room and terrace but in a couple of minutes walk you can see the bay and sun setting over the sea. The leisure facilities were easy to book, staff were friendly and they were always available whilst we were there. We either had use on our own or with another 2-3 people maximum. Woolacombe was lovely, not everything was open as it was out of season but meant the things that were open were easy to get in. The shop and post office were open and supermarkets were nearby in less than 15 mins driving. Would highly recommend.

amazing weekend away. everything was within walking distance. the building itself is very quiet there was no noise. Very quiet as it is set back from the road. close to all shops, restaurants and beach.

Immaculately clean and well provisioned apartment. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The pool and sauna were a lovely added luxury. Being right in town and near the beach was great as we didn't have to drive anywhere.

Lovely stay. The instructions on how to get to the flat and check in etc were spot on. The walk to the beach is minutes, which is fantastic. Even though we stayed in Feb half term we were lucky with some breaks in the weather, so were able to enjoy the beach. My kids enjoyed running into the freezing sea! The flat is very clean and comfy. It’s a great base for everything that the local area has to offer. We used the swimming pool twice. It was easy to book this - I did so in advance and time slots were pretty full. We enjoyed taking a trip over Croyde and having lunch and a beer at The Thatch which is a north Devon must! Thank you for having us.

We had a fabulous break - the apartment was absolutely perfect for us and definitely made our week. It was really spacious, well equipped and the beds were super comfy. The welcome pack was a lovely and thoughtful gesture. We also made use of the pool facilities and this was another reason why we booked this accommodation. We’ll definitely be back.

An absolutely beautiful apartment! lovely and clean and has all the facilities we needed. Dog friendly too which is excellent...but there is absolutely no signs of previous dogs there! Close walk to the beach and all the wonderful facilities in Woolacombe. Highly HIGHLY recommended!!

Such a wonderful week at Byron! 3 putsborough was fabulous, we loved the location with the decking and easy access to the town. This made such a difference for our boys with their surfboards! The welcome hamper was such a nice surprise, we have stayed in other apartments before and never had a welcome hamper so this was a lovely touch!

: We've stopped at the Byron on a number of occasions over the last few years and will continue to do so. 4 Putsborough, the apartment we stopped in most recently suited our needs perfectly and is familiar to us as we've stayed there on previous visits. It's very convenient for all the amenities available in Woolacombe as indeed are all the apartments. The staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating and the in-house facilities (gym/sauna/swimming pool) are a welcome bonus during any inclement weather. All in all, a great place to stay!

This was our 8th stay within the Byron complex. Number 1 middlecombe was a lovely apartment, we particularly loved the large outdoor enclosed terrace, which was just perfect for our dog and to sit and watch the sunset with a perfect sea view . The lovely hamper was a really nice touch along with a treat bag for our dog -thank you ! We will definitely return to this apartment!

Gorgeous apartment with amazing view from the balcony. This was our 4th stay at Byron and the 2nd in this apartment as we remembered it so happily. Beautifully kept and clean. Also very quiet. Well equipped and so close to the beach and shops. We will definitely be back.

We arrived at this beautiful apartment very clean and modern. Had everything we needed and more. Waking up in the morning to amazing views of the sea and hills very pretty. The reception ladies were very helpful and kind as we changed our swimming pool times because we went out for days and accommodated as much as they could to fit us in. Lots of food places to eat and nice decent meals nearby. Overall this apartment is great for families we had a lovely stay thankyou

The apartment was spacious, clean & comfortable. View was great over the bay. The veranda was good, very practical and descent views., with the appropriate furniture. If disabled you need your electric buggie to reach the shops and beech.
Walking to the swimming pool, through the underground carpark.....we didn't get wet (bonus)

The apartment is beautifully furnished and immaculately finished. We had a wonderful relaxing stay as a family of 4 and enjoyed the beautiful sea view. There is plenty of space and with the restaurant and indoor pool on site it feels more like a luxury hotel than a holiday let. We loved the location, next to the beach and bars and restaurants. On the odd wet British seaside day the indoor pool was fantastic and kept the children busy and entertained! We had a wonderful stay at the apartment in Woolacombe. The kitchen was very well equipped which we liked as we enjoy cooking. The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept well. It was great to be able to park easily and close to the apartment for unloading. The beautiful beach was minutes away which we loved. We used the pool and sauna on a few days when the weather was cool. Good communication with booking the apartment and instructions for arrival. Overall a fabulous holiday and we will be back to Woolacombe again.

The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the apartment. Pristine. Everything was fresh and bright. The appliances and utensils were of high quality and met every need. The location of the apartment close to the sea is perfect. Arrival and check-in instructions were clear. We planned to arrive a little earlier than the. Check in time and the team on site were really helpful and gave us an early check in.

The apartment is very clean, smart and has everything you could possibly need if you were eating in or just using it as a base and out every day (home from home). It is positioned in the right area i.e. not on the main road (which can be very noisy when cars are accelerating up the hill, past experience). Short walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely rebook this apartment again.

It is probably one of the most well stocked apartments we have stayed in. Great quality towels and fabulous showers and super comfortable beds.The pool and games rooms were used on rainy days.It was an amazing, relaxing stay.

We had a fabulous holiday at Byron on our return to Woolacombe. We haven’t stayed at these apartments before but will certainly return after such a brilliant stay. The apartment was so well equipped and the location is amazing- as far to walk as the car park for the beach! The facilities at Byron are also brilliant and we made good use of the pool, though the weather was really good this was a great form of entertainment for our two children. The washing machine was a huge help and meant we could get lots of washing done each day after the beach, and also really appreciated the coffee, tea, milk and dishwasher tablets etc which were left for us. We would really recommend Byron holidays and will return.

The apartment we stayed in had good amenities, was spotlessly clean and close to everything in town. Very comfortable for our family of 3 and our dog. The pool and sauna are great additions, but must be booked in advance. Car park is mega handy.

We received a warm welcome at Reception. Welcome pack of tea and coffee and extras were much appreciated. The apartment was clean and modern and had everything we needed. Ensuite Shower was great. Great location, so central and a stones throw from the beach. Nice to have a balcony too though the weather was variable!

We had a wonderful time at 2 Challacombe. It was a lovely spacious apartment, it was very clean, had all the amenities we needed, the terrace was a sun trap and had lots of space. The ease of just a few mins walk to the beach and the heart of Woolcombe made the holiday even more relaxing, we only used the car once in the week. Also thank you to lovely ladies on reception Kate, Julie and Inga always very kind and helpful. We cannot wait to come back.

A gem of a place! Clean, great facilities, close to the beach. Plus the staff went above and beyond (I accidentally left my handbag when we left). Great for teenagers to be able to walk everywhere, parking on-site. A lovely, well-priced place.

A lovely apartment with everything you need to self cater. Beds/pillows were comfy and everywhere was clean.

Woolacombe 6 is perfect me and my Cockerpoo! Fabulous scenic views from lounge and bedroom balconies, comfortable and clean, central location, with easy parking directly to the rear of the apartment. Having travelled the world quite extensively I really appreciate chilling out in Woolacombe now and have no desire to go anywhere else from now on.

The apartment is in an amazing location with fabulous views of the beach. The apartment itself is fabulous- well decorated and very well equipped. The pool was a real added bonus and the children loved using it. We had a great time.

Immaculately clean and tidy with a magnificent view of the sea from the lounge/dining/kitchen area. Outside area was big enough for 4 people to sit and relax and take in the beautiful scenery and sea. Everything we needed for a week’s holiday for 4. Both bedrooms were equipped with a fan, large tv’s, hairdryers and windows you can open. Plenty of cupboard space with iron, ironing boards, etc etc. The only thing we needed were food and toiletries which we brought with us. Lovely touches welcomed us with complimentary coffee bags, tea bags and some delicious Devon biscuits. Very quiet and peaceful too.The receptionist team were very welcoming and helpful too, along with the property manager who too was very helpful when he answered our call when we had a query on our first day. Overall it was a great week and we shall be booking 12 Putsborough again! We would highly recommend and the apartment far exceeded our expectations as did Woolacombe!

We stayed at this place for 4 nights and had the best time. The apartment was so well equipped we didn’t need to think about anything. Super clean space and perfect location. Lots of modern gadgets. The rooms were beautifully decorated. Easy check in and check out. Added bonus of having a swimming pool and sauna just incase it’s bad weather outside. Ideal parking also. Thank you Emma for a fabulous stay. We’ll definitely come back here when we return to Woolacombe!

Our favourite apartment so far. Kitchen was great with good utensils and crockery and the layout was the best kitchen for all we had stayed at so far. We enjoyed Putsborough 12 but found it got too hot, Putsborough 10 was perfect temperature wise throughout our stay due to it’s location. Facilities were great as usual and still a good standard. Online facilities booking would be good as it was after Covid. Hot outdoor shower for dogs was ace!

On arrival the apartment was very clean and welcoming with a magnificent view over the beach/sea. All the kitchen appliances were easy to use with instructions for each item. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was in a quiet location. The bathrooms were very clean and well laid out, with either a shower or bath/shower available. The pool area and sauna were well maintained and easily booked via reception or online. The beach is easily accessible, being a short walk across the road. There are ample cafes and eateries in Woolacombe if you are having a break from cooking and also a supermarket and local chemist for essentials.

A wonderful stay! We didn't know the area or the apartments and booked last minute which was the best decision. A wonderfully comfortable stay in an immaculate apartment which has been so thoughtfully furnished and equipped. Our little dog loved his time, too and the fact it's only a few minutes walk to the most stunning beach was the icing on the cake. Great to have free parking, too.

We have had another great stay at the Byron, the location & quality of the apartments is superb! Special mention to the housekeeping who managed to get us in early & Kate on reception who is very personable & helped us with a parking query.

Fabulous apartment close to everything. Absolutely beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean with superb facilities and close to beach and shops. The underground car park with marked bays was a blessing too. Loved it. There was nothing we didn't like, all was exceptional.

The Byron complex is very easy to find and the underground car park with allocated bays is a huge advantage. The apartment itself was immaculate with good quality appliances and spotlessly clean. Our apartment opened up onto a little shared courtyard, which though we couldn't see the sea was pleasant enough. The easy access steps took us straight down to the road and the couple of minutes walk to the shops and beach. Though we didn't have time to use the spa, we were thoroughly impressed with the facilities and aim to book again.

Woolacombe is perfectly situated to either stay local or travel to other beautiful beaches towns and walks.

Our 5th visit to Byron apartments and as always very enjoyable. 10 Woolacombe West is very well presented, clean, well furnished and modern. After a 5 hour drive we appreciated the welcoming pack, as did our dog appreciate hers :-) Would recommend this apartment.

Location & sun trap balcony

Amazing apartment! The view is spectacular. The location is perfect - it is just a small stroll to the beach. The apartment is furnished and decorated to a very high standard, and equipped with everything you need for a luxurious stay. We are a family with two young children and the facilities were excellent: The indoor pool on the complex was great. Woolacombe is a delightful village- the beach is spectacular and there is lots to do in the area for a family too. During our stay, the TV in the smaller bedroom broke- however, the Property Manager was excellent and installed a new TV within a few hours of us reporting the problem. We will definitely consider visiting again.

We were very pleased with the standard of our apartment. Cleanliness was very good. Parking excellent.

Our family had the best vacation in this outstanding penthouse vacation home. The directions to access to the home were simple to follow and we were welcomed to a large parking stall for our rental car. The home was very accessible and secure. We were very delighted to find there was fresh bread, jam and refreshments awaiting us on arrival. The flat was immaculate, very inviting and spacious with elegant modern decor and a view that literally moved me to tears! We each enjoyed our own room each with access to a balcony or the roof top patio. The home was extremely well stocked. We had a blast playing the in house games and cooking together. (We cancelled a few dinner reservations as we couldn't tear ourselves away from the gorgeous roof top patio.) The hot tub was a huge hit and everyone had a place to relax in the comfortable patio furniture. During our stay we enjoyed some amazing sunsets, walks on the beach and drives thru the stunning countryside. This unit is very well located close to stores, coffee shops and restaurants. The indoor pool was refreshing and very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I didn't have time to enjoy the other facilities but they were extremely clean and inviting. Words and photos cannot do this property justice! Did I mention that view!? My only regret was having to leave. The beautiful memories our family made in this outstanding home are priceless and I hope to return and relive them!

Just returned from spending a break in this gem of an apartment. We were particularly impressed with the quality and amount of crockery, glasses, utensils and board games. The apartment is convenient for the beach, shops, restaurants and should you venture further you always have a FREE parking spot to return to. Excellent in every way.

This is our second time renting this apartment, as last year it is immaculately maintained and kept and accommodates our multi-generational family with all enjoying the facilities and space and size of the apartment.

The location is perfect, with on-site parking and lifts to all floors, and the view from the balcony is the best in Woolacombe. The apartment itself is luxurious, well appointed, & is always clean and well maintained. You also get use of the on-site facilities such as gym, sauna and pool, as well as the large outdoor deck area for sunbathing etc. if you fancy. Having stayed here a couple of times now and always been happy, it is definitely my first choice for a break in Woolacombe.

Fantastic apartment that was perfect for our stay with 2 adults and 2 children. We loved the stylish decor, cleanliness and high quality finish. Lovely balcony for good weather days and the pool and gym were great when the weather wasn't as good. 2 good size bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Fantastic, well equipped apartment in a great location with a fabulous view. 11 Middlecombe is tastefully furnished with lovely soft beds and spotless bathrooms. The kitchen is a home from home with every appliance and utensil you could wish for. The complex itself is well maintained, lift areas and stair wells are clean. The leisure area, pool and gym are fantastic and we enjoyed a swim most days. The reception team can't help enough. Byron is definitely a 5*+ resort and we would highly recommend. Already booked again for June!

What a wonderful family holiday! This is the third time we have spent Easter in the Byron apartments We arrived to find a bottle of Lanson champagne in the fridge for my Mum's 88th birthday. Thank you for that! The views are spectacular and the whole apartment beautifully furnished. So calm and spacious.... There were 8 of us across 2 penthouses which worked so well. We will certainly be back.

Wonderfully spacious and exceptionally clean apartment. Met all our needs for a very relaxing stay on the North Devon coast. Plenty of fresh air and walks on the stunning Woolacombe beach. A wonderful time of year to be there avoiding the crowds but with enough open to enjoy meals out and sit in cafes/bars enjoying views of the sea and surfers. Time also spent on the balcony in the afternoon sunshine and later on enjoying the sun go down with a gin! We only used the car once all week – an added bonus! Would highly recommend.

Our holiday couldn't be any easier, on-site parking, pool, sauna and games room on site and a very well secured, spacious, modern 2 bed apartment. Lots of space and home from home luxury. Could not ask for anything more, the bonus is the beach is less than a 5 minute walk, it was that good that we have booked again for week in the summer.

Excellent apartment close to beach and amenities. We highly recommend it. Location very close to the beach, pubs and shops. Woolacombe is small and winding down in November while we were there. The apartment is excellent and has everything you might need. It's modern, clean and equipped. The complex has a good indoor pool you need to book.

A spotlessly clean and stylish, well furnished, spacious 2 bed apartment. It has its own lift entrance which was very useful during our stay. Extremely well equipped kitchen, fluffy towels and super comfy beds. Thoughtful supplies when we arrived - tea bags, fresh coffee, milk, hand soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablet, tea towels, and plenty of toilet paper and kitchen roll. Great location …. a short walk to everywhere!

The facilities, cleanliness, overall apartment, and view was excellent! Friendly community in and around the area, and an abundance of activities to do everywhere. And there were the perfect amount of only local businesses needed for a short stay!!

Very clean, spacious, and felt like pure luxury. Great atmosphere and wonderful on-site options to choose from. There's also plenty of local businesses to check out, and the area is littered with walks and activities. And to top it all off, the staff and people we met were lovely to chat with. Definitely would stay again sometime in future!

Lovely apartment with a good sized balcony, table and 4chairs which we used for breakfast and coffee. The weather was very kind and only rained in the evening when it didn't matter .Very comfy beds and spotlessly clean .Easy access to the beach and shops .Safe parking area and under cover.We have stayed at Byron before and love it. The staff are lovely and very helpful and the facilities such as the indoor pool are lovely and again spotless.We hope to come again in the spring as Woolacombe is our go to place. We had a great time. The apartment suited us perfectly (we are 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 4). It was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and bedding of a nice quality. The boys loved having a TV in their bedroom! Having such an amazing view really enhanced our experience. The location is obviously very convenient and having an indoor car park nearby when the weather was a bit grim was brilliant. 5stars! Thank you.

Our first time to North Devon and to Byron and the booking and arrival process was well communicated and smooth. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with everything we could have needed. The location was perfect and to be able to see the sea from the apartment was lovely. We used the on-site swimming pool and sauna on 4 occasions during our stay and also made use of the games room which was a hit with our boys. To have these facilities on-site was brilliant even though we were lucky with the weather so mostly out and about. The parking at Byron was also an added bonus. We would love to return in the near future.

We picked the site because we had stayed in the hotel in 2001. This visit was utterly different and absolutely wonderful. Check-in was easy, the space was exactly as described, the views were amazing. It was a most excellent break and we will recommend the building to friends and family and likely come again. Milk, teabags and coffee were a very welcome arrival touch.

: We were a group of 9 (4 adults, 5 children). The apartment had plenty of space, with good sized bedrooms and a big balcony. The Smart TV was nice and big and perfect for the kids. The broadband was really good, even with multiple devices connected. Location-wise it’s perfect and the car parking space was ideal as it was located right next to the lift. The two ladies at the front desk were super helpful. The pool was great, albeit limited ‘slots’ available. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely few days in the apartment - despite the awful weather! The apartment was very clean and smelled lovely from the diffusers. Good quality bedding and towels throughout. Very comfortable beds. We appreciated the bread, fruit and jam left in the fridge - a lovely touch. The kitchen had a good variety of pots/pans/cutlery and plenty of glasses and cups which is necessary as the dishwasher can take a big load. The hot tub was well used by us - and is a lovely luxury to have, especially when the sea was not so inviting. Unfortunately the weather meant we could not use the deck with all the furniture, but will be a lovely spot for evening sunshine. The view for the lounge was perfect - the reason we booked this particular apartment - watching and listening to the waves crash in. The sofa was comfortable to sit on - only a few freeview tv channels, but the tv did have Netflix. We will definitely book again.

This apartment has everything. Fantastic location with breathtaking views of Woolacombe bay. Immaculately kept with top of the range facilities throughout. The owners have thought of everything to make our stay a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back next year. Would highly recommend to anyone. Absolutely stunning.

We stayed last week and had a lovely break. The checkin was amazing and allowed us to checkin early, this was great as we had a little one with us. The apartment was great, clean and everything you needed. Swimming pool was also great and enjoyed the sauna. All in all a lovely apartment and will definitely be returning.

We absolutely loved the apartment. It was such a good size for us and each couple had their own bathroom which was brilliant. The large living/dining/kitchen space was great for all the family to sit together and the south facing balcony was stunning. Sadly the weather wasn't great - but this didn't spoil our weekend!

This was our 2nd stay in this apartment this year, we stayed here in June also. On both occasions we have had fantastic weather. The apartment as before did not disappoint. Very clean, had everything you would need. Very comfortable. The view is awesome. We will be back next year.

I recently stayed at this apartment in Devon and had a great time. The place was lovely and clean and really comfy. The decor had a modern vibe, but it still felt homey and inviting. The kitchen was fully equipped and with everything you could need including a dishwasher. The living room was spacious, with windows letting in lots of natural light. It was great to chill out there after a day of exploring. The bedroom was cozy and the bed was really comfy—I slept like a baby! The bathroom was fresh and modern, with all the essentials provided. One of the best things about this apartment was the location. It was close to shops, cafes, and restaurants, so grabbing food or exploring the area was easy. Plus, it was a great base for checking out Devon's gorgeous beaches and countryside. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Devon. It's a great spot, whether you're here for work or just to relax. Can't wait to come back!

Wow just Wow, I knew it was going to be good from the pictures and it didn’t disappoint. We had the most amazing stay apart from 3 days of bad weather but it didn’t matter because of the beautiful roof terrace and hot tub we had. The penthouse is absolutely beautiful inside and out and the views are to die for, if you’re looking to treat the other half or family in the uk then place is definitely on the list, I felt like a lottery winner every time I walked out onto the roof terrace and would definitely go back at the drop of a hat. If you’re thinking about booking “get it done” you won’t be disappointed.

Our second visit to Byron apartments, having stayed in Middlecombe last year. Upgraded to a sea facing apartment as is our 15 year wedding anniversary, so spent a little more than we usually would, and it did not disappoint! Check in was seamless and the apartment spotless. Being able to sit out on the balcony and look out over Woolacombe any time night or day was amazing. All the things we could possibly need were in this apartment including some books, games and dvds. The best accommodation we have stayed in for a UK holiday!

Lovely apartment in which we spent a week on a previous occasion. Clean, spacious and ideal for 4 people. The communal swimming pool is a nice touch. We loved our stay at 7 Putsborough. It was quiet but really close to the beach and the shops. That was lots of great touches like the outdoor shower to use when you return from the beach and also the lovely doggy treats on arrival for our dog. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely family stay in challacombe 5. This is our 3rd year in this apartment and it continues to be clean modern and so we'll.equipped for a week away. We love.to use the swimming pool and we managed to fit in plenty of swimming . We were initially advises that the pool could only.be booked.twice during the week but kept.checking in an evening and if there were slots remaining were able.to use them . Close to the village so that our 11 year old.could have some independence doing some shopping.

This was the first time in woolacombe and we absolutely loved it. The apartment had everything you needed very clean and the location couldn’t be better. The beach is about 5 minutes the row of restaurants and bars is even closer. Though you never heard any noise from them. Fabulous for families, I would recommend booking eating as places get busy. The parking was underground and easy access from the apartment via a lift. The housekeeping department kept us informed and were available if needed (we didn’t but was nice to know)Steven and his team made our holiday great and will return asap.

An amazing holiday and would definitely return specifically to 6 Woolacombe West. This property was truly amazing from cleanliness, sea views and Central location. The rooms were a good size and having an en-suite on the main bedroom was lovely.

We had a wonderful short break in this very modern, stylish apartment. Beautiful and well kitted out on the inside with a fantastic sea view of the village and beach from the two balconies. Could easily have stayed a lot longer.

The apartment was excellent, modern and had the benefit of a large decking area to allow outside eating or relaxing on the sun beds. It was just 2 minutes walk to the beautiful, expansive sandy beach and the water was so clear. There are a number of places to eat and drink in the small town, so it would be easy to find somewhere to meet your taste and pocket. There are also a number of walks around Woolacombe, some easy and others a little challenging. I would definitely book a holiday here.

Our fifth stay at Byron and so far our favourite spot, generous size accommodation at the heart of Woolacombe. Clean, safe and fully loaded with all the equipment you could need home away from home.

We have been to Woolacombe a couple of times because we love it but this had got to be the best place we have stayed at. We stayed in the X4 Putsborough apartment at Byron and absolutely loved it, we had the most amazing time! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and homely. As this was a ground floor apartment it even had an outside area with seating and a table so we spent lots of time out there too. There was also a swimming pool and gym that we like to use in the mornings. We liked this apartment so much we have decided to stay there again this year. And it’s soooo close to the beach, only a 4 minutes away on foot!!

Lovely apartment with everything you need for a fabulous stay. Centrally located for convenience and to fully enjoy what Woolacombe has to offer. Will definitely recommend.

We love Woolacombe and have stayed in various houses/ apartments over the last few years.. We tried Byron for the first time last year and this year was out first in Putsborough 7. The apartment was fab really nicely decorated and spacious. As with the majority of Woolacombe it’s dog friendly and there was a lovely touch of a dog goody bag left out for our pooch. There’s a nice balcony over looking the courtyard and we love the safety of the easy access car park. Byron as whole is really clean and upkeep is good. We will be back and Byron is now our apartments of choice.

Very nice apartment, stylish, newly decorated, comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean. 100% Recommended.

The apartment was well presented, clean and well equipped. It was just one flight of steps or one floor using the lift from the car park with our reserved space. Beside the flat was a sunny patio garden area with furniture. It also had a surf shack with board, wind breaks, mallet, umbrella, bats, bucket and spade. There was a pool, gym, games room with pool and table football near reception, but we had no time to use them. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The flat was yards from the bars and shops and only a few minutes walk from the beach. We had a wonderful time and want to return next year.

We loved our stay at 11 Putsborough. Everything was in great working order and nicely presented and clean. The apartments are conveniently located for everything Woolacombe has to offer, and the undercover parking was very convenient. We loved having the swimming pool and gym, which we made full use of, and also the pool table. We had an amazing time!

We had a relaxing stay in this stunningly beautiful apartment. It was spotlessly clean & the attention to detail in providing everything we needed for our stay was exceptional. This is a ground floor apartment that is an added bonus for dog owners. The leisure facilities are excellent & the reception staff are very welcoming & helpful. The apartment is ideally placed close to the beach, restaurants & shops. We highly recommend a stay in this superb apartment & look forward to a return stay here in the future.

From start to finish we just felt so comfortably at home here. From the spotlessly clean apartment to the incredibly well-equipped kitchen, we had everything we needed and more inside 1 Putsborough. The apartment was so close to the beach and local amenities, offering so much flexibility to the stay. The pool was a real hit too! Everything was so well thought out, maintained and cared for. We cannot recommend a stay here more highly and definitely hope to be back!

We really enjoyed our stay in the penthouse which has beautiful views. The weather was wonderful throughout our week’s stay. The apartment is extremely well equipped inside and out and was perfect for our needs. The booking system for the facilities was easy to use and the pool and gym were really enjoyable. We have no hesitation in recommending to friends and family and would love to return.

Really nice apartment in a stylish clean modern development. Great to have use of the swimming pool and gym. We managed to book the slots we wanted but I am imagine it may get busy during holidays. Great location right next to the shops and beach. Apartment was clean, cosy and functional. It had everything we needed. Fantastic for a family holiday with our children.

Really comfortable, warm and quiet apartment with outdoor terrace that catches the early evening sun. Beds and sofa all superb - couldn't fault it and would definitely go back to this particular spot again, especially as it's tucked away with easy rear access - invaluable with surfboards and a dog! We enjoyed the pool and the sauna. Lots of helpful information from Byron online which was greatly appreciated.

Lovely apartment with great layout and balcony/view. The balcony enjoys all day sun, well into the early evening (we visited in Spring). Great pool facilities (book early) and indoor car parking helps enormously.

Stunning apartment, very shocked! Everything was thought of, such as pizza cutter, tea coffee sugar, upon arrival. Staff super friendly. Pool was a dream as on my own. Couldn’t default anything. The only downside was the eateries, as out of season and hardly anywhere to go, but honestly we loved our stay and will be back. Thank you so much.

I have been visiting Woolacombe for over 26 years and this holiday let has been one of the best. It has been finished to a high spec and is even better in person than in the pictures. I would definitely recommend.

Apartment is very spacious and comfortable. There is everything that you could possibly need and the two parking spaces are definitely a bonus with a larger group.

We have had a wonderful few days in Woolacombe. Our apartment was perfectly clean and spacious with everything to hand, a real home from home. So nice to have everything clean, in working order and new. It was a pleasure coming back to it each day, I didn’t want to leave.

Clean and comfortable apartment that was perfect for our short break. Apartment was like new with virtually everything we needed for our stay. As it states it is just a few minutes from the beach and other facilities in the village. Was a good base for exploring the local area and despite it being November the weather was fair and even bright and sunny for a few days. Steve the handyman was friendly and accessible and fixed a small problem the next day with a smile.

Beautiful apartment, very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. We are regular visitors to Byron but this was our first time in this apartment as we wanted our kids and grandchildren to join us at the weekend. Even when we had 8 of us in the apartment (and 2 dogs) it still felt spacious and worked really well for us with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

What a wonderful place for an Autumn break! We had marvellous coastal walks from the door, taking in Morte Point, the Beach, Baggy Point and more. Staying in November we were delighted to find Woolacombe had plenty of good places open for eats & drinks and we really loved the crowd-free ambience. Rockham 1 was a super base to come back to, comfortable & well-equipped. The jigsaw is excellent!

Spent a lovely week in 10 Middlecombe. Apartment was modern, clean and very comfortable. Just minutes from the beautiful Sandy beach and the coastal footpaths so that once you’ve arrived you don’t really need to get back in the car. Parking facilities and lifts to apartments an added bonus. Would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A well- equipped apartment and very true to its photos. It was lovely looking out across Woolacombe Bay watching the sunset and having the sun in the room in the afternoon. We will certainly stay in this apartment again.

What a wonderful place to stay. Superb apartment which is beautifully fitted out, all very tasteful. All facilities are excellent, we loved the gym and pool. Underground parking was very good and they even had a doggie shower so our Labrador was happy too! All this and a stones throw from the most amazing beach. The staff were extremely helpful, professional and made us feel very welcomed. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience. We will be back.

This really is a fabulous apartment that has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It was spotlessly clean as was the whole Byron development. Although it's not on the front it still has a lovely partial view of the sea and Challacombe Hill and the balcony felt very private and quiet. Everything from the bedding to the crockery was of very high quality and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Our dog is too old to travel now but we really appreciated the beautiful pictures of the doggies and beach. We felt this apartment was one of the best we've stayed in in Woolacombe and we've been coming for over 50 years! We made full use of the pool and gym and had it to ourselves which was a bonus.

My partner and I from the U.S. had the opportunity to visit this lovely town and stay at 1 Rockham.

We were fascinated to find out that thousands of GIs descended upon the town in WW2 preparing for D-Day launching in Normandy.

The flat was ideal - spacious, comfy, well equipped and decorated. Wi-Fi is great, and there are large screen TVs in the living area and master bedroom. There is a balcony for viewing the stunning sunsets and lounge chairs for sunbathing in the warmer months.

Woolacombe has been voted best beach in the country and deservedly so. The Coastal beaches are pristine, the waves are great, and ogling the surfers is a great pastime. The Coastal walks are beautiful along the unspoiled cliffs, with occasional seal sightings in the rocks below.

Supermarket, great fish and chips and all the necessities are available.”

Smooth arrival and collection of keys. Very nicely appointed apartment which was clean, warm and comfortable. Nice to find the basic washing up liquid, cloths and tea towels etc. provided. The tea,coffee and milk supplied were appreciated too. Proximity of beach, shops and restaurants was perfect.

Easy and clear access arrangements and underground parking. Super central in Woolacombe. Had a super week in the sea, walking and visiting local area. Can recommend The Jube for an evening meal and The Watersmeet Hotel for a cream tea !

The apartment was immaculate and perfect for our needs. Our daughter, partner and small grandson stayed for part of the week. He loved the surf shed for all his beach gear. The reception team were very helpful and whole booking process was easy. We will definitely come again. It brought back memories of when I was a child and came to Woolacombe and the hotel that was on the same site years ago. Beautiful apartment and lovely beach.

A nice modern apartment perfectly located a stones throw from the beach and Wollacombe town centre. We really enjoyed the convenience of being so close to everything. Having the pool and other facilities on site added to the variety of different things to do. The kitchen was well equipped. It was a bonus having Netflix and a decent TV. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment, very clean. Balcony relatively private. Great sea views. The bi-fold doors leading to the balcony makes it a lovely bright and airy apartment. Step free access to the top floor apartment is great for anyone who needs to avoid stairs. Location is great, right in the resort and with the advantage of parking.

We really enjoyed our weekend break in an “out of season seaside holiday town” along with Maisie and Milly, our two Westies. Maisie loved running on the long beach, splashing in the sea, exploring the dunes, and that there were plenty of other dogs to Grrr at in the street; Milly, as befits an older dog, had a quieter and peaceful time. We walked on the coastal path to Puttsborough Beach café, and Maisie and I continued around Baggy Point to Croyde and back. Apartment is amazing with loads of space, great views from the balcony and superb sunsets. Looking forward to our next visit.

Loved everything about this apartment. Location, decor, facilities - I really don't see that there's anything not to like. Lovely views of the sea, right in the centre but no noise to worry about. Easy to find the parking space and to collect the keys. Swimming pool was clean - maybe a tad chilly when you first get in but fine.

The property was very clean and modern. Very nice touch to arrive to some beer and wine in the fridge. Everything has been thought of and our stay was above and beyond our expectation. Would most definately highly recommend and stay again if returning to the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in Woolacombe, everything was very convenient / close by. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach. It was great to be able to walk in our wet suits and use the warm outdoor shower provided by Byron before heading back ti the apartment. We also enjoyed using the pool and sauna on days when the weather wasn’t so good - the booking system seemed easy to use and fair.

A nicely presented first floor apartment in a great location, Very good amenities in the apartment and wider complex, everything a family would need including access to the pool/sauna/gym. The location being the most important factor is superb along with allocated parking. We will be back again for sure.

Amazing views from the apartment with plenty of space inside for the 6 of us. Cooking facilities were great and it was well equipped with plenty of items in the kitchen.

Excellent and well appointed apartment situated within a 5 minute walk from the exceptional Woolacombe beach. The indoor pool was easy to book and was beautifully clean and modern. The views from No.8 were gorgeous of the hills and the sea. The underground parking was easy to access and essential in the Woolacombe area.

A very bright and welcoming apartment. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms clean and modern. The kitchen was reasonably well kitted out and the little laundry cupboard was very cleverly appointed. We chose the apartment for the large terrace which had a range of comfortable furniture- the large day bed was very popular.

Dog friendly beautiful ground floor 2 bedroom apartment with 1 en-suite and 2nd bathroom. Fully fitter kitchen area, open plan dinner/lounge. Smart TV for relaxing. Patio is a large comfortable seating area in a quieter area of the complex. There is a spotless pool and gym area which is easy to book. The apartment was spotless on arrival, and the team are available if needed. The staff were very helpful. We also had small welcome pack of milk, tea, sugar. Dish washer and washing machine tablets and washing up liquid. Perfect home from home, short walk to fabulous beach and excellent bars and restaurants. Local Londis for shopping, with super stores short drive away, or you can arrange delivery. The whole area is dog friendly, and so is the beach, except from one small section.

The apartment was clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished. We had everything we needed, and having items such as washing up liquid, tea towels, dishwasher tablets was great, as was the welcome pack! The views and veranda and balconies were amazing.
We had an amazing week and would not have changed anything about the experience.

Number 18 is a beautiful apartment, very well equipped with everything you might need, with fantastic views, very close to beach and amenities. Byron complex have a very helpful and friendly receptionists, it was pleasure to deal with them. We found that outside warm shower downstairs was very useful for our dog. A swimming pool and sauna in the complex was lovely and clean and easy to book and access. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in apartment 18 within Byron Holiday Lets complex and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Very comfortable apartment in quiet location with extensive views over beach down to Putsborough and Baggy Point. Balcony in full sun from noon until mid evening. Ideal for making the best of a good week of weather.

What a charming apartment, it had everything we needed...once we had 'found' the cultery drawer. Games a plenty and a brilliant space for me and my teenage son, who frankly needs space, as do I. The ensuite bedroom is smaller than the other one, but this is fine and comfortable. The twin room was a palace for my boy with his own bathroom too. I loved the island in the middle of the room, everything in its place and easily accessible. The sofa was a perfect size, the balcony a little small but perfect to sit out for breakfast. We didnt go to Brundels, but ate in the apartment, the Beachcomber was our favourite place we found that we ate at once. Kayaking, surfing, clay pigeon shooting, slip n slide in Croyde and Quadbiking was a spoiling holiday for the teen...i need one now! Thanks Woolacombe, your beach is amazing in the early morning and late evenings when it is quiet and picturesque. The walk along the beach to Putsborough is something everyone must do. We will be back, but i definitely won't be surfing again!

The apartment was lovely and large enough for our family to sit and eat together, a great bonus having a parking space and allowing dogs to stay with outside space.

Lovely spacious well equipped flat. Had all the essentials and more… needed for a week away! This was much appreciated. Instructions to flat were excellent and car park was a huge plus for us. Also we used the leisure facilities a couple of times,and they were lovely and spotless. The flat is so near the beach and shops couldn’t fault it! The only small niggle was because we had good weather ( which was great!) the flat was hot all day and all night. You are obviously aware of this as fans were provided and needed! All in all there is absolutely nothing I could add to make apartment better it was super! We all had a fabulous holiday. Thank you..

The facilities at Byron are amazing. The apartment was beautiful, very modern and clean. It had most of the things you would need for a self catering stay. The location is perfect for days on the beach or wandering around the town. The doggy shower was an absolute bonus! The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming too. Overall we had one of the best holidays we have ever had and we usually go abroad!

This was an excellent apartment in a great central location. The beach was a minutes walk away and what a beach it is a Woolacombe ! One of the best beaches I have been on, in a very long time. Great for kids and all the family. 👏

Can’t fault this apartment. Gorgeous open plan living space, furnished extremely well with it also being comfortable. Bedroom sizes are absolutely incredible. Not what we expected at all and were blown away by the amount of room we had. There were a few useful beach things in the laundry room, wind break, buckets, spades etc which were a lovely addition for us to use

Fantastic apartment overlooking Woolacombe Beach. Well equipped for young children/babies and managed to stay cool enough in this latest heatwave. 2min walk to the beach is perfect as well. Helpful staff made the stay that much better. Can’t do much better for a view!

We have stayed at Byron a number of times but this was our first visit to this apartment and it did not disappoint. You get all the high quality interior you expect and a lovely large private comfortable south facing terrace. I am sure it will become popular but I hope there will be enough availability for us to visit again!

Great apartment with stunning views of the bay. This definitely helped when the weather was not so good. Fully kitted out with everything you can need for a comfortable stay. Close to the beach which is essential for young kids and access to the heated indoor pool is also a major bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Exceptionally well maintained and furnished apartment. Everything from the crockery to the bedding was excellent quality, and the whole apartment was tastefully and thoughtfully furnished, and spotlessly clean. Location and view was excellent - one of the best in Woolacombe. Hope to return soon.

Great holiday base, high standard of quality all-round from the booking experience, information and the overall property.

Really nice, tasteful apartment, lovely living space, 2 decent bedrooms and bathrooms, perfect location in the town for son who wants to surf and us parents who want to walk with the dog. Daughter happy as well as the pool is really nice and was mostly empty while we were there. Took us a little while to work out how to get around the complex but soon got the hang of it. Staff were helpful and friendly too. The icing on the cake was that we were blessed with fantastic weather for mid May and had a really good time in our first family holiday for 2 years!

A very nice apartment with balcony view allowing a partial view of the beach and sea. The accommodation is comparable to others within the complex in which we have stayed and is equipped to a good standard. Overall, a nice place to relax.

Beautiful modern apartment with a lovely sea view from the balcony, had everything we needed for our family break. Booking the gym and swimming pool was easy. Perfect place to stay, very close to shops/bars and a few minutes walk to the beach. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed our stay at 11 Middlecombe. The apartment was spotlessly clean and exactly as shown on the website. Both the location and the view from the apartment are real winners. We could walk to both Woolacombe Beach, Barricane Beach and the local restaurants without having to think about finding parking. Highly recommended.

Fabulous apartment, the furnishings & utensils were to a very high standard. The lady on reception was very helpful when needed ie booking pool slot etc. We had a lovely time especially our little dog Otto. Will be returning soon.

Everything was perfect; with generous sized rooms, sea views and everything brand new and in perfect working order. The location was marvellous with close proximity to the beaches and wide choice of eating places. Other things which made our stay so special were the very warm welcome we received at the church on the opposite side of the road to the Byron office and the open beach to the south, which took me back to the 1960s when I used to go a walk on the beach every morning before work.

Absolutely fantastic apartment. Could not fault it! Immaculately clean. The beds were super comfy. The hot tub amazing. The terrace and the views simply stunning!! The pool was lovely and easy to book a timeslot. Very dog friendly. Would return tomorrow if I could! Thanks so much for an amazing stay.

Modern compact apartment with everything you need with amazing sea views!

The email communication from Byron before our stay was great, including organising a 2nd car park space for us and giving us the heads up that The Red Barn may not be open (hurrah it was for some of the time. ) Swimming pool really a good addition. Loved the crisp hotel type sheets and towels. Love Byron, apartments with their close proximity to the beach.

What can I say, what a lovely apartment, there were no negative points, It had everything you would need. It was clean, it was modern, perfect location. Every detail was smooth, we booked very last minute, I cannot recommend enough, if anyone is thinking of booking, book you will not be disappointed. We will most definitely be booking again in the next few months, ooh added bonus most apartments allow dogs!

What an amazing apartment with everything you could ask for. Beds are amazing and all equipment and extras supplied are top notch. The apartment was very clean and relaxing and we could not ask for more hence booked again for next year. The whole block is well kept and the swimming pool is lovely which we really enjoyed. I also want to thank all the staff that we had dealings with, your customer service is top notch and all emails answered so quickly and really friendly would totally recommend to anyone.

Spacious, comfortable and well- equipped apartment with nice big balcony. Overall we were very happy with the apartment, the service and leisure facilities. This was our second visit to Byron Woolacombe. It’s a great place and resort. The complex is really centrally located with great parking.

I spent my birthday week at 18 Woolacombe East and it couldn’t have been better. It was beautiful and very well equipped with everything I needed with lovely welcoming touches. In a great location, right near the beach, shops and places to eat.

The apartment was beautiful and in show house condition. It had everything we could want at hand The furnishings were all luxurious with crisp white duvets and proper fluffy white bath sheets Amazing views, great location with the beach less than a minute walk Restaurants and bars similar and we received a warm welcome at all those we ate at. Would highly recommend The Beach House where the food was special - lovely locally created menu Superb golf at Saunton less than 20 mins away The team at Byron were great sorting our last minute booking especially Olivia whose customer service skills were exemplary We will be booking this one again.

Excellent accommodation and facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and intend to return next year for another week. The weather for mid March was excellent and we were able to make daily use of the balcony with its wonderful views.

We stayed three nights having a relaxing stay in this clean, comfortable, well equipped apartment. Lovely spot just outside for breakfast and coffee. Glorious golden sandy beach, good walks, superb for surfing and even a surf board store. Lovely brand new swimming pool and sauna. Plenty of places to eat really good local food, cannot recommend this too highly.

Excellent apartment in every way, located in the centre of Woolacombe, well equipped, modern, cleanly decorated with exceptional views right down Woolacombe beach to Baggy Point and out to sea. Easy parking undercover about 10 yards from the apartment.

We stayed at Rockham 1 last week. It is spacious, high spec accomodation very close to the 3 mile sandy Woolacombe beach. It is superbly designed for easy living, with comfy lounge, kitchen and dinning area very airy and bright due to its large windows and balcony. The apartment is maintained to a superb standard, with communal areas including pool sauna and gym similarly impressive. Overall everything you need!”

Dream stay in March 2022 at the perfect Byron Eleven in a wonderful location in Woolacombe overlooking the bay. Could not fault anything. Beach so close, restaurants on your doorstep, quiet but vibrant. Sharp decor and impeccably presented. Lovely private swimming pool for the Byron building used twice with no one else present.
Owner left a welcome pack of the basics and much appreciated beer after a long journey .
We will be back as soon as we can!

A really good week away and it's so nice to have things like milk, bin bags, washing up sponges and so on included and ready for when you get there. The apartment itself is great and like new - spotless. everything in the apartment and the facilities works really well. The pool is great, the gym very handy if you like that kind of thing. The location is pretty much perfect, with plenty of covered parking. You can walk to the pool within the building if it rains and there are several lifts for when you're lugging heavy bags to your apt. - handy. Shame the restaurant (Brundles) was closed during our stay at Feb half term but there are quite a few places doing food in town. I'd recommend the Jube, the Beach Cafe (in particular) and the Hotel for a meal. Great walks and the beach is lovely - as is Barricane Beach around the corner from Woolacome. Good place for walks along the coast too. Overall really good and we would happily go again tomorrow!

Another wonderful stay at Byron. This penthouse is beautiful, the views are incredible, and the apartment is very well equipped. We managed to stay an extra night and the Byron team were very accommodating with this . The outside terrace is huge , with the hot tub a lovely bonus. We were more than happy watching the storms from this stunning apartment! The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise! We Will be returning!

So thrilled with our 3-day break in January. Wished we had arranged to stay longer.! The sun shone, the new spacious ground floor apartment was comfortable., and the price was reasonable for the quality of the accommodation. A well-equipped kitchen, gleaming bathrooms, and comfy bedrooms. Easy access through patio doors to outdoor space, and a shortcut to the beach. Plenty of storage space, spacious sitting rooms suitable for couples, families and dog lovers. Our dog’s first visit to the sea, made easy with the outside shower, removing all his sand. The cafes and pubs open in the village are all dog-friendly. The beach walks are memorable, for all the right reasons. Byron staff are welcoming, and friendly and deal with all queries. The swimming pool and sauna were quiet and relaxing. The site is immaculately kept. Experience for the memory box!

We stayed for 2 nights in this brand new apartment. It’s been furnished very tastefully and comfortably with all modern conveniences. Ideal for a getaway with friends. Would be lovely for a family too. Love the location on the ground floor and with a dog as it was perfectly placed to pop them outside when needed. The beach (right on the doorstep) was virtually deserted and so letting the dogs have a good run was a pleasure. It was off season so the local eateries are not open yet but we found breakfast at Meraki Cafe to be wonderful and there is another cafe which is usually open in the off season. The Jube was good for a posh burger and other pub classics. Dog friendly too. The small Londis had a good range of products for a weekend stay. Highly recommend a stay at No.1 Putsbourough at Byron. The host has added lots of nice little touches to make it homely. Great value for money too. The sauna and pool in the complex are fabulous, but you do need to book in advance to get a slot. The games room is a great addition. All in all a smashing place to stay.

The Byron team were helpful, friendly and professional both in the run up to and during the holiday. We received lots of useful advice about the various apartments available as well as the local area. Don't be put off by the strict tone of the texts, the real people are much more flexible!. The apartment was stunning with a fantastic view. Beach, coastal path, cafes and restaurants were all in walking distance. As well as spotless, the apartment was truly "fully equipped". No shopping for bin bags, kitchen roll etc as is so often the case with UK self catering. Also a beautiful welcome pack and helpful, responsive housekeeping team. We cannot recommend Byron and Woolacombe 18 enough and will certainly be returning.

Our trip to Woolacombe at the penthouse Woolacombe 3 was nothing short of a delight. A well needed mental retreat with beautiful surroundings and apartment facilities. Everything was clean upon arrival, user guide manuals and handbooks to assist on facility instructions, local must-see and day trip recommendations alongside very clear instructions on what to do upon arrival/checkout.
Needless to say, the penthouse felt like home instantly as well as throughout the duration of our stay and being 4 minutes from bed to beach was magical. You can’t put a price on what you get out of staying in Woolacombe apartment 3. 11/10 recommended and thank you so much for our stay. We can’t wait for future visits.

From a small bottle of milk to a lovely wine, and a good selection of glasses it was all rather nicely done. Don’t miss the hot tub. This apartment is absolutely amazing . We booked it as a bit of a treat, very luxurious , beds comfortable, and very well equipped. The big draw for us was the amazing view, and this lived up to expectations. Seeing the sea from my your bed is idyllic and also from the lounge whilst relaxing on the sofas. We appreciated the use of the bodyboards and also the kind gift of some local wine in the fridge when we arrived.

Beautiful and clean and welcoming apartment ideally situated for Woolacombe beach. Owners have added high quality touches within the apartment making it a home away from home. thankful for the addition of books and board games which kept the kids entertained on rainy days would definitely recommend staying here if you want a comfortable and luxurious stay while exploring the Devonshire coast.

The apartment was lovely, and perfect for our needs. Our kids loved meeting other children in the shared courtyard, and we used the pool extensively. We also loved being so close to the beach. The apartment was well equipped and we appreciated the care package of essentials on arrival.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful apartment. All the furniture was new and the beds and sofa (with extending leg rest!) were so comfortable. The crockery and utensils were extremely high quality and as were all the electrical appliances. Cot / high chair available (though we did not need them) and information packs were well presented - even a selection of board games for wintry wet days! Main apartment facilities excellent and we played several games of pool in the reception area. An excellent choice for a Summer or Winter break. We will surely be back to no 3! Thank you x

Our stay at 3 Woolacombe west was everything we had hoped for and more! Perfectly located to explore Woolacombe and nearby villages and coast. Easy assess to southwest coast path for walks. Easy contactless check-in and check out. The apartment is well equipped with high-end appliances, a super comfortable sofa and a bed. There are some handy bits to use at the beach such as a mat and parasol. The bifold doors and view from the main bedroom and lounge are absolutely amazing, the perfect spot for breakfast and an evening glass of wine watching the sunset. We didn’t use the pool/sauna as had amazing weather so too busy outside and at the beach! We would highly recommend the apartment to others, although It sells itself I think!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

This is a top quality apartment, very well appointed and really nicely furnished. My partner fell in love with the shower and the soft water. Lovely balcony to enjoy a coffee in the sunshine with the balcony getting sun all day. Easy to find on the main road into Woolacombe and approx 3 minutes from the beach. Getting the keys and finding the apartment went smoothly thanks to comprehensive instructions. We are already planning our next stay.

Wow!! Just returned from a fabulous stay in Woolacombe at 5 Challacombe. A short walk to the beach from an apartment that was equipped and furnished to a 'home from home' standard. The apartment was spacious - particularly the living area where bi-folding sets of doors allowed us to enjoy the sunny balcony from morning to evening - we could even see the sea though the views of the surrounding hills was truly stunning. We made use of the indoor pool and sauna each day - either to start the day or relax after a day out exploring. Woolacombe's shops, cafes and restaurants were also 'just out of the door' and we enjoyed a lovely evening at Brundles, the food was great - part of Byron facilities too. We will definitely return. Just back from a fantastic holiday at 11 Middlecombe the views from this apartment are absolutely stunning as is the apartment, very clean , comfortable and had everything we could need we'll definitely be back.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Rockham 5. We loved how close it was to everything, we barely needed to get in the car all week. The apartment was clean, bed was comfy, sofa was comfy and we had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

The patio with egg chair was fabulous to relax and unwind after a long walk. A lot of thought has gone into making everything easy at Byron. The lower ground car park is great and the lift useful for luggage. The outside shower was a great touch to clean up the dog from the beach. Makes it much easier to keep the apartment clean. We didn’t use the leisure facilities at Byron but they looked nice. Will definitely stay there again and in No 7 Middlecombe. Thank you for a fantastic stay

“We spent a wonderful week at 1 Rockham over the October half term holiday. The apartment is clean, bright, modern and well equipped. The pool and games room facilities are great and were much appreciated, especially by the kids (aged 8 & 4). The beaches are amazing; the kids loved rock-pooling and shell searching on Barricane Beach, and surf lessons and building sandcastles on Woolacombe Beach. We did lots of lovely little local circuit walks for little legs. Funder Island got a massive thumbs up from the kids too, especially when it was followed by ice-cream/waffles from the little street hut. Lots of choice for eating out, Gobblebox was super-yummy. A fab holiday, will be booking again!”

Had a great holiday in this fabulous apartment. Can highly recommend spending your hols here. The apartment is stylish and luxurious. It was extremely clean with all mod cons. The beds were super comfortable. It has a good size balcony with sea views. Its location is superb for the beach, shops and restaurants as well as lots of coastal and inland walks. There is also a swimming pool and sauna within the complex as well as a garden/communal area. There are plenty of things to do and very much looking forward to holidaying there again. Apartment was pristine, very spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Home away from home. Brilliant see view from both balconies. Beds were the most comfortable you could wish for. The apartment and facilities were perfect for our stay - great open plan kitchen and living room with all essentials provided and the bedrooms were modern and stylish. Love the separate beach storage facilities Car parking is great to rear and apartment was situated perfectly in the village to allow us to walk to beach shops and restaurants.

Apartment was lovely and very clean,i was surprised how lovely it was considering I’ve stayed in other dog friendly accommodation and this is definitely the best,the apartment had everything you need especially in the kitchen,washing up liquid dishwasher tablets It was also nice to have tea coffee sugar milk on arrival at the apartment. I would say the car park is not for the light hearted as very steep but you can use the main entrance to the apartments and this is an easier way to get to your apartment when walking. I would recommend this apartment for a nice stay in Devon.

The apartment has a very spacious open plan lounge/diner/kitchen area fully equipped with everything you need. The bedrooms are small but the beds are luxurious and very comfortable with good mattresses and quality bedding. The bathrooms are also very luxurious. The position on the 1st floor around the back means you hear no traffic noise at all from Beach road but still has plenty of light. Their was a nice surprise of basic things like milk, tea, coffee left for me along with supplies for the dishwasher etc. All in all a very comfortable lovely apartment and ideally located for the beach, with free secure parking and clean communal areas. I'd highly recommend this apartment.

Just returned from a great week at Byron. The apartment was lovely. A fantastic location, comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Having the bonus of parking was great. Checking in information was concise and easy to follow. Would highly recommend and hopefully we will return.

This apartment was perfect for my 3 year old and me on our holiday. Spacious to run around, all the kitchen equipment we needed, pool and car charger plus walking distance to the beach. I will be back with more family members next year!

Great apartment, good size, immaculately clean. Nice touch supplying a complimentary welcome pack. Decent showers as well which is great when you’ve spent all day on the beach. This is the second time we have stayed at Byron and would have no problem in using again. The location to the beach is certainly a big plus.

Wonderfully equipped apartment and kitchen with literally everything you need for a self catering holiday. Smart TV and WiFi. Flat very high spec and was spotlessly clean. Would recommend to anyone who wants a stay close to the beach and bars and restaurants. Can't fault it. Pool and sauna was very nice and had it to ourselves the 2 times we used it!

This is a great place for a family holiday . It was easy to find in Woolacombe because it is so close to the beach . The check in system is well organised as we had an allocated numbered parking space and a security key box so there are no queues involved- we were quickly parked and in our apartment. We were very pleased with how clean everything was and with the extra thoughtful welcoming touches such as fresh milk ready in the fridge. The apartment is very well equipped throughout and there is the added bonus of the beach hut storage space in the courtyard which had a few beach items already there to use, including a bucket and spade ! The beds were comfy and there is plenty of space to store your luggage . It is worth saying too that although these are flats , there was absolutely no noise issues from other people staying - they seem to be well insulated. The outside balcony is quite small but it's large enough to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine on, with a view in the distance of the hills and it looks immediately out onto the courtyard. The beach is just a short walk away and when you return later from a day at the beach, there is a hot outside shower where you can clean your wetsuits etc. The swimming pool was clean and well looked after. The whole apartment complex is very well managed , modern and clean . Would definitely recommend 10, Putsborough apartment as a brilliant place to stay all round.

Shower pressure very good and everything clean and comfortable. The weather was remarkable, so the bi folding doors were appreciated. Excellent stay.

WOW I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment so well presented the view was fantastic of the beach from the balconoy. Some really nice places to visit near by. The apartment was extremely clean and had everything in it as described. I would highly recommend this place next time I would book for the front view apartment. The pool and sauna was very clean and staff were very helpful when needed.

This is is a great duplex with stunning views and close to the beach and shops. The apartment was spotless and all communication was good - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

The standard of the accommodation here is just fantastic. The decor is so lovely, all beachy theme colours and there’s a very well equipped kitchen. Beds were so comfy (a big deal for us!). We really loved just how close you are to Woolacombe, it’s so handy for nipping to the beach and of course avoiding the traffic/parking. The pre arrival guide was great, easy to follow instructions of how to check in. Very handy to have the storage shed to keep everything wet and sandy in. The ladies on the front desk were so helpful, knowledgable and polite. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 4 Woolacombe and have rebooked to come back next year (although this apartment wasn’t available so clearly you need to book very early!)

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was very clean and well resourced. It had lovely modern furnishings and enough space for our family of four. The location was amazing. We’ve never stayed somewhere so close to the action before. It was great to only need to get in the car to drive somewhere else for the day once. Every other day of our week long stay was spent in Woolacombe, walking to the beach, shops and other attractions.

Fantastic modern apartment with excellent modern appliances make this a perfect base to stay. Lots of space for all visitors to have their own corner when needed or to come together for a family meal. Everything that was needed was found in the apartment. Lovely Pool and onsite storage areas. Great break and great facilities.

Great apartment and location.

A really lovely apartment and perfectly placed for the beach and immediate area. We loved our stay and are desperate to return as soon as we can. The apartment was immaculate and a few cleaning items and basics such as milk, tea, coffee were waiting for us. The key wasn't in the safe when we arrived but were able to find someone to help find it for us. The use of the storage shed was useful and the swimming pool was good. Overall, we had a fab holiday week and will be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very modern with all the appliances required. Very clean upon arrival the complex feels more like a high end hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. We used the gym and swimming pool which is again a fantastic amenity. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here with my very large dog and could not have been happier. Large terrace area which he spent a lot of time on and was safe, enclosed and happy there. Apartment lovely and well furnished with equipment that made it a home from home. Will be on our list to revisit.

We had a fantastic time staying at Byron in Woolacombe. 1 Challacombe is a lovely self catering apartments with outside space and a lovely view of the hills opposite . Everything was clean and comfortable and we were so impressed with the effort that had been put into the apartment complex being COVID secure. The apartment was well equipped and had a lovely outside terrace. An allocated parking space was a real plus in Woolacombe in the summer holidays. I would thoroughly recommend Byron as ‘the’ self catering place to stay in Woolacombe.

Had an amazing stay at 1 Middlecombe . Everything is of a very high standard and home from home, couldn’t fault anything . Very close to the beach and the view to the beach from the extra large balcony is perfect . The balcony is also a fantastic sun trap if you like to sit out in the sun . Would definitely recommend , we are already booking back up for next year .

This is a beautiful modern apartment on the top floor of the Challacombe block at Byron with 4 bedrooms, 2 ensuites, and a family bathroom. There is acres of space for 8 with a great south-facing balcony giving views of the sea and hills. It's less than 4 minutes to the nearest part of the beach and 2 minutes from the shops and restaurants. The kitchen area is very well equipped with all modern appliances, even a wine cooler cabinet to keep the Rosé at a perfect temperature to drink as you watch the sun setting from the balcony! We loved it so much that we tried to book for next year but unfortunately it's already let! BOOK EARLY! Next year we've had to take 2 apartments but we can't wait to come again. 5* we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

What a great place to stay for a holiday : very impressive, very spacious, high quality accommodation. Sea views from the two balconies. Allocated parking space in the underground car park. Outside shower and shed for body boards etc. Good gym and indoor pool. Minutes walk from very good pubs/restaurants and town centre shops and amenities. Award winning beach on your doorstep. Park the car on Saturday and get back in it a week later! Why would you stay anywhere else?

The apartment was perfect. Lots of space (there was 8 of us), beautiful modern decor and every piece of equipment you could think of. The kitchen was high end and has made us want a new hob oven and microwave! The pool and sauna area is lovely, i was fortunate to get an early morning swim by myself. Extremely well organised admission and departure process with good communication throughout.

Return visit to Byron 11, perfectly presented again, the best location In the village with 2 sun trap balconies for fantastic views over Woolacombe and of the sea. See you again later in the year

A lovely apartment with all mod-cons in a quiet location. Stayed at the same time as my young grandchildren, and we made full use of the indoor pool which was very well organised and Covid-safe ! Spent many evenings on our balcony with a glass of wine, watching the sun set over the sea !

The apartment is very well kept and completely spotless. All mod-cons were available including a washer dryer which was perfect to clean towels after a day at the beach, which is also just a few minutes walk away. Perfect location for all local eateries and amenities. Comfortable, relaxing base and room for all the family with 2 sizeable bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen/diner/living area. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Wow! What a fabulous week in an amazing apartment!! Real luxury and dog friendly too. My family had a great time in super Woolacombe and everything is so close as the apartments have a prime location just a stone's throw from the beach. The complimentary tea, coffee and milk in the apartment are a lovely thought as we forgot to bring ours. All the appliances are top-notch too and I would thoroughly recommend any apartment at Byron to everyone The staff too are so friendly and happy to help with anything. Cannot fault anything at all.

We've had a lovely week in the apartment. Highlights were walks to Croyde, curry on the beach at Barricane and supper at Tides Inn. A super apartment. We've loved being so close to the beach.

Absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was very clean, well equipped (smart TVs were excellent especially with our 2 small children for mornings and evenings) and very comfortable. Fantastic location (beach is genuinely a 2 minute walk) and easy access with stairs and lifts. All instructions and guides (pre arrival pack, site map, etc) were easy to follow and booking of site amenities was easy online. Loved it and can’t think of anywhere better to stay; we look forward to staying here again in future.

We had a fantastic stay at 7 Middlecombe from start to finish. When we arrived the accommodation was spotless, really well cleaned throughout and we loved the quirky British coastal themes of the rooms. The facilities are fantastic, the pool was lovely and the location was ideal; walkable distance to the village shops and the beach. Loved our stay and would certainly recommend and return in the future.

A fantastic place to stay. Greeted by the concierge team who were very warm and welcoming and couldn’t have done more for us throughout our stay. They even went out of their way to book a slot for us & (2yrs old boy) to enjoy the pool. They provided a cot & high chair as requested. A very big spacious apartment and the kid's room has blinds and curtains so good to keep the sun out. Provided tea/coffee & Milk. Within walking distance of a wonderful beach and good restaurants. Definitely like to return at some point.

We had a a amazing stay at Byron Woolacombe. The apartment and amenities had everything we could of wanted for our family (2 adults and 2 toddlers). It was extremely clean, everything was immaculate and furnished to a very high standard. Use of the swimming pool and other facilities was great. Check and check out was efficient. Wonderful stay at 2 middlecombe,2nd stay at this apartment and 3rd stay at Byron. Everything you require is available making it home from home, particularly great for dogs being on the ground floor. Will be returning for the 4th time. We had a truly wonderful few days, help available with regular texts should you require anything.

The family and I visited Byron Wollocombe in early July 2021. We had a very nice stay, the apartment was a great size, well furnished, all mod cons and the little extras like milk in the fridge, tea bags etc were a nice first impression. the Kitchen was well equipped with everything you'd need for cooking family meals. Having a washer, dryer was helpful too with little kids and the small fridge and compact freezer was ok size for the essentials. The wider complex is very well maintained and having access to the facilities such as pool and gym (required booking in advance) was a nice added benefit. We found the staff and cleaning staff to be polite, friendly and always willing to help. The location is amazing, really convenient for beach days, a few mins walk away. The beach is one of the best in the UK and large enough not to feel crowded even on a busy sunny day. if your a surfer the waves are pretty good most of the time too! There are local restaurants/places to grab a bite, a local Londis, chemist, news agents and beach/surf shops etc on the doorstep which are handy if you aren't travelling by car or don't want to drive. Wollocombe is a good base for exploring the local area by car with easy access to local supermarkets (closest is Tesco, 10 mins away) and attractions under 30 mins away by car. we took day trips to visit the Zoo and Dinosaur park which the kids enjoyed, both had great play areas for the young ones too which was a bonus. The only down sides we encountered were a little difficulty contacting the Bryon staff on arrival, possibly due to the weekend arrival. The instructions for accessing keys were, to be fair, sent in advance, but within a PDF attachment which was difficult to download with the limited mobile network (less than 3G). however, as mentioned, for the rest of the week contact was easy. The mobile signal is not great, probably due to being in a valley (though was low on our travels also) not a problem for switching off from things but if you need to be online then you'll rely on apartment wifi. The only other thing to be aware of is the location is quit hilly, so getting around on foot can be a little challenging for young children or older adults. The area around the front of the apartment and shops etc is fine but pack walking shoes if venturing further afield for costal walks or travelling by public transport. overall we had a great stay, we would definitely recommend Byron and visit Wollocombe again for a staycation.

Beautiful apartment, very clean, lovely bed linen and towels. Kitchen well equipped and small welcome package (milk, tea, coffee etc) very well received. Very hilly - difficult if you have mobility problems, but that’s the geography not the apartment.

Absolutely beautiful apartment, me and my boyfriend went for a few nights away for his birthday and it was perfect. Felt like our own home, the place was also immaculate when it came to cleanliness. It was a perfect area to stay, just a walk away from the beach and we absolutely loved using the pool for the hour that we booked it. Really cosy and clean, no complaints from us whatsoever, would highly recommend this for couples, family’s or even a small group of friends x

We spent a wonderful week at 4 Challacombe. The apartments location is perfect being less than 5 minutes walk from the golden sands of the spectacular Woolacombe beach and a similar distance from the town and countryside but still in its own quiet spot. The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern and spacious, with large comfortable beds and a waterfall shower in the en-suite. The kitchen is well equipped and there were plenty of mugs which were a nice personal touch. An added bonus were the bi-fold doors that opened onto a private patio and secluded courtyard which meant that we could sit together, my husband Roy in the sun while I remained in the shade of the apartment. We would highly recommend a holiday in this lovely apartment.

Lovely 2 bed apartment with a great contained outside space for our dog to potter about in and watch the street through the fence. When it was too hot for the beach, we chilled outside as it was shady. Great amenities - pool was wonderful - just the right temperature for swimming.

To be honest we could not fault Byron apartments in any way. 5 Rockham was nicely furnished , very well equipped. This is the second time we have stayed in Byron apartment and they are as good as any we have stayed anywhere in the world. In addition Woolacombe itself is a really nice coastal town to stay at.

On arrival apartment very well presented and clean. Every requirement had been thought of and the welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk was a nice touch. We will definitely return again.

Fabulous views, spacious, felt like home. One problem was that the lifts stopped working a few times but it didn’t really impact us with teenage children, but older people it could. We ate in the apartment mostly due to the Euro football matches being on but the places we enjoyed eating out at were The Rock Inn Georgeham and Blue Groove in Croyde. my boys had surf lessons in Puttsborough but then rented boards in Woolacombe and went in the sea there after the lesson.

Smart apartment, well provided, with spacious balcony with comfy swing seat. We liked the open plan kitchen/diner/sitting room and the electric showers. We found the beds comfortable. The kitchen equipment was well thought out and tasteful. The apartment was very convenient for walks, the village and surfing. The information up front was clear and included most things. From our limited interactions the staff were very friendly. Overall we were really pleased with the apartment.

Thank you for a lovely stay. The flat was smart, spacious, clean and really well provisioned. The tea and milk were a nice touch. We liked the electric touch shower. The staff were friendly and unobtrusive. The car park was easily accessible and gave great access. Car charging was easy to arrange. Hopefully there will be more business for you too now Woolacombe is the Times 2021 beach of the year.

Our stay at Byron exceeded my expectations as the apartment was very spacious, well-designed and convenient. Parking was so easy, and the lift really helped with unpacking and packing ready to go. The swimming pool was an added bonus for our beach holiday and lovely and fresh.

Fantastic apartment, looks brand new, contemporary style, lovely balcony looking onto the courtyard with bifold doors. Great seating area in the open plan living space, fully equipped kitchen with the bonus of a washer/dryer, hairdryers and ironing board. Bathrooms very good too with powerful showers. Indoor pool was fab, restricted use at the moment but was lovely to have it to ourselves with a sauna and the gym good too. Building well maintained and an ideal location for the town and beach, with benefit of shed storage for beach gear. Parking space great under the building. Staff lovely and very welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend. Woolacombe is a great family friendly resort with a fab beach and costal paths, head towards Morthoe on the coastal path to see seals bathing on the rocks below. Tides, Electric bar and Beach House great places to eat.

Thank you for an excellent stay. We had a fantastic stay (despite the wet and windy weather). The apartment was spotless and very well equiped. It proximity to the beach and town was perfect for our needs and to have an allocated parking space is a real bonus. In addition, the reception staff were execptional. Helpful, professional and accomodating. I can not recommend Byron enough.

We had a lovely stay at 4 Challacombe. The flat was very clean and spacious. Everything worked perfectly. great location, near the beach and shops and restaurants.

Lovely apartment which is comfortable, well positioned with good facilities. Bi fold doors open up across whole width of apartment with access onto patio which is lovely. Ideal for dogs as easy access to beach and costal paths with shower on way back into Byron site to wash sandy paws. Easy access from car park via lift or stairs

Wonderful stay! What a fantastic location, clean and spacious flat, great facilities... We had a fab stay. The beach shed and assigned parking was really convenient. The courtyard was a great shared space for the kids to mix and play each afternoon... We couldn’t have had a better stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay at No.1 Challacombe. The apartment was very spacious and very well equipped with everything you’d need for your stay. The views are great from the apartment and the ground floor location with access to the communal courtyard worked perfectly for us. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach and a two minute walk to all the bars and restaurants. We’d definitely look to stay here again.

We have stayed in Woolacombe many times as our family, but this was our first time in Byron. We were very impressed with the apartment and facilities. Everything was very clean, the apartment was in excellent condition and had everything we needed (apart from a tin opener!). We only had very limited interaction with the staff during our stay, but they were very helpful and friendly. If you are looking to book a holiday in Woolacombe, we would highly recommended staying at Byron and also 1 Middlecombe, we are certainly going to re book!

Apartment was perfectly located with a great view, close to all amenities and Beach. Seemed recently decorated and very clean, the decor was very modern and the kitchen had everything we needed. The Bar and Restaurant downstairs was a welcome addition which we made a lot of use of. Would certainly recommend this apartment for a stay home away from home.

The apartment was clean, well furnished and comfortable with superb views over Woolacombe and the stunning beach. The apartment had all of the modern conveniences and the facilities within the Byron complex are excellent including the superb indoor pool.

Flat is in a fantastic location with views of and close to the incredible beach. The Byron development itself is superb quality and brand new this year. Good size indoor pool and sauna complemented by a well-equipped gym. Very well equipped kitchen, which is part of large and light diner/lounge, made self-catering a joy. Large comfy beds with excellent mattresses so good nights’ rest which you’ll need after sampling the incredible walks all around Woolacombe - you can start these from the flat.

Highly recommended for a stay next to one of Britain’s very best beaches

Just had a lovely few days in a very luxurious apartment. Everything was of a superior standard - the only thing which could have been better was the weather. Beautiful area with wonderful scenery and fantastic beaches. Would certainly recommend staying here.

We had wonderful stay in this luxurious 2 bed apartment. Everything was immaculate with a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony where we could sit out and enjoy a meal with a sea view. We had a lovely swim in the indoor pool and relaxed in the sunshine in the communal gardens.
It’s a 3 minutes walk from the beautiful Sandy Woolacombe beach and the South West coastal path with absolutely stunning views.
We highly recommend it and we will definitely be going back.

Had a nice stay at no 17 and it was clean and compact and not a bad size for 2 people (and a good price). Easy reach of the beach and easy to access from car park on same level. The patio does look into the underground car park and a walkway passes through it however the beach is only minutes away so wasn't an issue for us. We have stayed a few times at Byron and usually book an apartment with a sea view but none were available this time. We would certainly return to this apartment again if the sea view apartments were fully booked. The Byron apartments that we have stayed in have all been good and we look forward to coming again later in the year.

Had a lovely short break at Byron in early November, the apartment was comfortable, well equipped & immaculately clean. We chose 4 Challacombe for easy outside access for our dog - simply out of the door, 2 sets of stairs & almost on the beach!
The staff were friendly & helpful and we had a nice meal at Brundles on the terrace.

This was our second year staying at Byron. The Middlecombe apartments are beautiful and so clean. Lovely quiet Apartments where you feel really able to relax. Fantastic location with lovely views. The check in and out is easy and no hassle. Can’t wait to come back!

The apartment was very comfortable with everything available for self catering including a very handy washing machine.

Byron is ideally located, close to the beach and restaurants, making a stay in Woolacombe Bay very pleasant. We used Brundle’s restaurant a couple of time and were not disappointed, excellent food and service very attentive.

Myself, wife, daughter & Son came for a short break 19/10/20 -23/10/20. Wonderful modern, clean with high specification apartment 10/10. Swimming Pool area clean and modern to, even the underground parking area lovely and clean.
The reception staff are all very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
The restaurant below (Brundells) is wonderful with great food and great wines although the wine could be a slightly over priced.
Overall a lovely fantastic short break.

We were very impressed with the apartment when we arrived. Not only is there free underground parking but the apartment was in top condition, but it surpassed all expectation. The apartment had all of the facilities required and was a very short walk to the beach and the local bars. We will definitely consider going back soon!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Byron Woolacombe. The apartment was immaculate in every sense, cleanliness, layout, furniture etc etc. We could not fault the apartment or facilities on any way. Woolacombe as a place to visit was superb. Beautiful clean beach was excellent for walks as was the coastal path. We definitely plan to visit Woolacombe again and really hope to stay at Byron.

Just back from a fantastic holiday in Woolacombe. I can not recommend these apartments highly enough, fabulous location and SPOTLESSLY clean. All the staff we had contact with were so welcoming and polite. we had a problem with our bifold doors and they were so quick to respond and sort it for us. We shall definitely be returning! Excellent, well equipped and very clean apartment just minutes from the village centre and the beach. We didn't have a sea view but the patio doors on to the south facing deck area made up for that. All the administration from Byron was very efficient and all the Covid measures were well implemented and carried out.

The apartment was really well kitted out and very clean. Perfect layout for a family stay. Having the patio doors out onto the courtyard was very convenient, especially with a dog. Outdoor hot showers in the complex were much needed and a real luxury in October. The apartment is brilliantly located for easy access to the beach, shops and cafes. Fantastic location with great facilities. We enjoyed the pool and the sauna looked brand new. Having the bar and restaurant on site is a bonus. Would definitely recommend and look to stay again in the future. The apartment was clean and beds comfy. Bathrooms like new and well appointed. Outside area useful to have as was the undercover car parking space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely to have tea , coffee and milk waiting in the kitchen area on arrival.

Excellent cosy apartment with bay views and good balcony.

Great place to stay, the apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed to eat in. The car park was very useful as it close to the apartments and easy to find on arrival. The whole site is Covid safe with hand sanitisers and signage everywhere. It’s in a great location next to the beach and Bars and Shops.

Excellent accommodation, we were definitely impressed the second we walked through the door. The photo's do not do this justice, I actually felt like the rooms were bigger than the photos showed. It was very comfortable to sit back and relax in the evenings. The attention to detail was excellent too! Little things like the dog bowls under the sink, extra soft blankets in the cupboard etc. really allowed this accommodation to stand out. We've stayed in a lot of places in the area, but this is definitely the best we have stayed in. We hope to be back next year!

Accommodation and location were excellent. Clean, warm, quiet and safe. Every effort had been made to make things Covid secure. Perfect base to explore the area with amazing walks and views. No need to use the car. Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant place, everything you need and only 2 mins to the beach

A modern apartment that had everything you need, right in the centre of Woolacombe. Made for a perfect stay. Would definitely visit again.

We had a lovely stay at 2 Putsborough for one week. The apartment was excellent with its modern styling and plenty of space. And most important of all - dog friendly for our little furry friend. Location is very good, with the main street opposite and just 3/4 minutes away from the beach, which is 3 miles long. We also used the main in house restaurant, which is also handy if the weather is poor, though luckily the weather was very good when we stayed.

We spent some of the time in Woolacombe and the rest visiting the delights of Devon and Cornwall, so it can be a good location whether you want to chill out or explore further afield. Don't forget to walk to Mortehoe, a little village up the hill. Certainly worth it, with excellent views and a country pub.

Would be very happy to Byron again if we return!

I could not recommend these apartments enough, they were very clean and fully equipped. The location is perfect minutes awat and reception overlooking the beach, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would love to return again in the future.

We stayed in the apartment with our 1 and 3 year old and the private patio was perfect for the children to walk around while we were getting ready to go out. The apartment was very convenient and spacious and it was perfectly close to the beach.

Very pleased with the apartment, fixtures, fittings and furnishing all to a very high standard, the owner had lovely taste. The location worked for us as the enclosed but spacious balcony gave us some outside space but sheltered from the wind. It had a brand new feel about the place.

I am a regular visitor to Woolacombe but this was my first time staying at Byron.
The apartment is well situated and it’s position and layout worked well for us and our 2 dogs The rooms were spacious and comfortable and we made good use of the terrace which gets the sun all day. We took our own dog fence for the terrace so we could keep the dogs secure and had the bifold doors most of the time.

A great location and a beautifully clean apartment. Bedding and towels were top of the range. It was perfect for 2 couples and a lovely spot to relax in the evenings. We cooked and had fish and chips because the restaurants were busy. We were able to enjoy the outside space too. We would love to come back and have recommended it to others!

The apartment was furnished to a high standard with modern fixtures and fittings our stay was enjoyable and we would certainly consider another holiday here.
The option of having an apartment that didn't allow pets was the main criteria for us, having no allergies from pets was a must.

We stayed in this beautiful penthouse for a week during glorious September sunshine. The apartment is stunning, everything about the place oozes class. My wife and I had a great stay and highly recommend this place. This penthouse has a huge terrace overlooking the beach. It has everything you need for your stay. Couldn’t fault the place at all, penthouse pricing won’t be achievable to everyone. Please go if you can.

Wonderful, high quality property, with everything you need for a fantastic stay. The property overlooks Woolacombe bay, and is only a 2 minute walk from bars, restaurants, shops, and the beach. The younger members of the family enjoyed the on-site swimming pool, which was available, with COVID restrictions. Ilfracombe is twenty minutes away on the bus, and we’ll worth a visit

Perfect for the beach!

We had a fantastic time and location was perfect, apartment was clean and modern. 2 bathrooms perfect.

We spent a great 2 weeks at Byron, who were very efficient on arrival and throughout. We pre-booked our sole pool and gym session due to new C19 measures. This was brilliant! Our bright, airy, modern apartment was clean and well equipped. The additional ‘shed’ was a godsend for our beach stuff, so as not to tread more sand into the apartment. We had dinner and cocktails at Brundles numerous times. We shall certainly return to Byron!

My family all loved the Byron apartment. Being on the Sandy Lane side it felt quieter yet Middlecombe 5 still has sea views and sun on the balcony for 4-5 hours in the afternoon. The apartment is spacious, well equipped with all kitchen equipment you'll need, and well designed. The double bed we hoped the kids wouldn't have was separated into singles which was a nice touch. The block seemed peaceful as the sound insulation was good. All in all a lovely apartment in a great complex and we will be back.

Perfect property with enclosed patio to let the dogs out. Patio got very little sun but that didn’t detract from our stay.

Very enjoyable stay.

We as a family of four stayed at the penthouse at Byron for a week in August 2020. Prior to us arriving we had been in touch with Olivia at Byron about various aspects of our stay. Olivia could not have been more accommodating - she was a great communicator and responded very swiftly to my queries.
We don't normally spend as much as we did on a week's holiday in the UK but given the Covid-19 restrictions, decided a UK holiday was best. We were not disappointed. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, was very clean and had everything you'd need for a family stay. We were lucky with the weather and so spent most of our time out on the very generous terrace.
There were a couple of (non essential) items needed for the apartment and the maintenance guy, Steven, was really helpful and quick to respond.

Our apartment was very spacious with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was well specced with high end appliances, accessories and utensils.

This really does have to be the prime place to stay in Woolacombe.

Fantastic apartment. Very comfortable and clean. Functioned really well for us as a family of four and had the added bonus of the terrace for drying clothes and enjoying the sunshine. We were not really aware of any noise from any other apartments so felt secluded which was great in these times.

Really lovely new flat in a superb location with fantastic views. Brundles restaurant below does great food and is perfect for families. Other reviews mentioned noise issues but didn’t experience anything at all. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back next year.

AMAZING stay! Will be back again!

Loved it! Spotlessly clean, comfy and well equipped. Perfect location, great to have underground parking. The kitchen pack was most welcome upon our arrival. Olivia was super helpful and responsive on the email when we had the odd question, as was the lady who was there upon arrival making sure everyone found their keys. Everything worked perfectly so much so we have booked to return next year - there’s no better accolade than that!

Really luxurious apartment, fully equipped and everything was brand new and really high quality. Thank you for providing tea, coffee and milk on arrival. Lovely surprise to find wind shield, sun umbrella and even sand bucket provided! Felt really safe arriving just as Covid restrictions were easing, sanitiser in car park and everything had been carefully risk assessed and planned for. The warm shower on return from the beach was a nice touch. Did not use the pool/gym facilities, but my daughter used the gym regularly and was able to book easily. Maintenance staff responded immediately when the sliding doors would not close. No views from that particular apartment, but immediate access to sunny terrace and easy access to the beach. Beach was fantastic and the fact it was so close meant I could go twice a day and still go on other outings, avoiding the local traffic and car park fees. Body boarding recommended as it is not possible to swim in the waves. Weather very touch and go, but that’s England. Stunning coastal path walks and views in the vicinity. Local Tesco was great, I would steer clear of local Lidl (both 10-15 min drive in Ilfracombe). Local Londis at walking distance very convenient, as well as fish and chip shop, Cornish pasties shop and Red Barn pub. Would book again without hesitation if it was not for the considerable drive from London. Thank you for a fab stay!

This is a very easy review as everything and everybody was perfect and I am a fussy customer! The apartment was amazing, fully equipped and spotlessly clean and plenty of space indoors and out. The bathrooms are high spec and the bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage. It’s only minutes from the famous Woolacombe beach and some lovely walks. The food served at Byron was lovely, and the breakfasts were amazing well done chef. Unfortunately I could’nt use the pool and spa but they looked just like the rest of Byron exceptionally clean and a pleasure for all customers.

All that’s left to say is a HUGE THANKYOU to Olivia and all staff at Byron for making my holiday a good one. Hope to see you again.

Had a wonderful stay at No.6. The contactless check-in worked really well. The apartment was lovely with everything you could ever need. Lovely furnishings and comfy beds. The views from the balconies are awesome and did have trouble getting off the balcony to go surfing as it was so nice to enjoy the sunshine and watch the world go by. Lovely to wake up looking at the beach/waves. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and the handy surf locker was a real plus. The outdoor shower is so handy and warm when you come back from the beach. The team at Byron were friendly and helpful. Had a couple of meals at Brundles which had a relaxing atmosphere and amazing food. Already booked No.6 again for next year. The bookings team are professional and really helpful (thank you Olivia).

We had a fabulous time. All staff was very helpful and friendly. The place is situated perfectly and once you've arrived there is no need to use the car anymore! Beach, bars, restaurants & fantastic walks, what more could you need?

We stayed for a week in June. We are a family of 5, the apartment had plenty of room for all of us. Was nice having the 2 balconies. The view of the beach is excellent along with the comings and goings of beautiful Woolacombe, we spent many mornings sat watching the world go by. It is furnished to a high standard and the beds are extremely comfy. No complaints at all. All kitchen supplies were there which made a pleasant surprise, even dishwasher tablets were supplied. Allocated parking space is right outside the apartment along with an outside shed to store all your wet beach stuff. We just wanted to say wow, what a fabulous building!

The arrival process you provided was very clear with the keys /parking permits being easy to locate and obtain from the instructions given. The social distancing measures were clear and working well.

We had a wonderful welcome from the team and they were fantastic all week. A big thank you very much again for what you all do.

The apartment itself is fabulous and the attention to detail with the decor and fittings is really great. A lot of thought has also obviously been given to what equipment/ household goods are available. The tea bags and fresh milk was such a nice touch and appreciated after a long drive!

We will definitely be recommending and coming back! Keep doing what you are doing can't fault it! A great holiday 😀!

We had a fantastic holiday at beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, no. 9 Middlecombe. The apartment is on the second floor with a balcony overlooking Woolacombe Bay. Both bedrooms also have sea views. The whole place is well designed and spacious and the furniture and soft furnishings were luxurious and modern. It can't be overstated how nice it is to have less than a five minute walk from beach to apartment, especially with changeable weather. It meant we could swim and then come back for a warm shower/lunch before heading out again for another bodyboarding session. We look forward to staying again next year.

Extremely clean and spacious.I would definitely stay again.

Recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at Byron 11 and I have to say 5 stars just doesn’t do it justice! Fantastic apartment in an amazing location. Spacious, modern, beautifully decorated and right in the vibrant centre of picturesque Woolacombe bay, we really couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The allocated parking space was right next to the front door of the apartment which made unloading quick and easy and we were soon sat on one of the two massive balconies enjoying a beer looking out over the beach, watching the world go by. Couldn’t fault it and can’t recommend highly enough. We will certainly try and stay there again if we can.

After discovering there was no mattress in the travel cot, we phoned the front desk who got in touch with the relevant people. Within hours, someone had visited Argos, bought a mattress and delivered it to our door. Unbelievable customer service. I was completely speechless. Absolutely fantastic. The pool was lovely, the apartment was beautiful and the staff at the front desk were always welcoming. As our first getaway as a family of 3 with our 5 month old son, we couldn’t have asked for more (well, maybe better weather!). Would definitely recommend.

This penthouse apartment has lovely stunning picture windows with views over Woolacombe beach. It is very comfortable and well furnished.

Byron’s new apartments are gorgeous and modern. The sauna and spa was very inviting due to Storm Dennis and next time I would love to try out the gym as well. The balconies will be a great perk during the summer seasons and I am excited to go back. I would recommend Brundles just next door for food and drinks.

Had a really nice time staying in Byron’s new apartments they are really nicely decorated and spacious. The location is great, only a couple of minutes away from the beach. We also enjoyed drinks and had a good breakfast in Brundles.

Just returned home from a weekend away at Byron. A group of 12 stayed in 3 separate apartments in the Putsborough block. All apartments were great and offered amazing social spaces.

We all enjoyed using the pool and sauna followed by a breakfast in Brundles.

Cannot thank Byron enough for creating a great weekend away and will be booking in a summer getaway for sure!

Had the most amazing surprise birthday weekend away in the new Byron apartments. Beautifully designed, cosy, welcoming and modern. The best location, only a couple of minutes from the beach and all the local pubs. Awesome facilities within Byron and delicious breakfast at Brundle’s on my birthday morning! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return

A very pleasant stay indeed, the staff were very pleasant, professional and smartly dressed.

Everything was excellent! The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bed was very comfortable, kitchen had dishwasher, washer/dryer, lovely bathroom with nice shower, everything very clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful and friendly too. Food was very good and staff/service excellent.

Byron was outstandingly good! Greeted by the concierge team who were very warm and welcoming and couldn’t have done more for me throughout my stay. The apartment was massive (far bigger than I expected), and very well equipped in the kitchen. The heaters all worked to make it very warm and cosy in the winter. The bed was lovely and comfortable, slept very well. The apartment was very clean and new. The bonus was the games room, gym and swimming pool. All stunningly maintained and lovely to use. We visited Woolacombe for our anniversary with our two little ones aged (3 & 11 months). The property was truly beautiful with tremendous amenities, location was perfect within minutes of the vast large beach. The pool area was fantastic and clean and we loved the design and size of the apartment. On site parking was a breeze and the concierge service was a nice touch with a friendly face to be greeted to each day. We visited in November and got really lucky with the weather. Living in Bristol now after growing up in Cornwall we love visiting beach locations in the low season. We almost didn’t want to leave a review to keep this place for ourself. We will definitely be back....

The apartment was fantastic In a brilliant location with super facilities in the complex.

We absolutely loved the space in this apartment. It was roomy and the heating worked great for us (couple with 7 week old and toddler) as it was cold outside. It was clean and an amazing place to base ourselves from. My husband and son enjoyed the heated pool. It had all amenities that we needed.

We had a wonderful time staying at Byron Woolacombe in Woolacombe 4. The apartment was spotless, the staff friendly and extremely helpful. I can't wait to be able to go back to Woolacombe and would definitely stay at Byron again.

The apartment was new, clean, excellent facilities and accessible to the beach. The week in October we visited was out with the holiday season so was quiet. The staff were friendly & the food in the restaurant was excellent. Good car parking facilities. Building work was taking place adjacent to the apartment at the time but this did not cause any noise or inconvenience to our stay. Definitely recommend booking this apartment for families visiting North Devon.

We stayed as a couple for a few nights and this apartment was wonderful. Spotlessly clean and very good quality furnishings. Plenty of space and storage. The location is amazing with a gorgeous view and good size terrace. It was perfect for relaxing as the weather was a little up and down, the location meant we could get out for a walk the moment it brightened up. The byron development is nicely set up- we found our key for check in following the instructions on email. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, its worth knowing that the pool at the moment is only accessible 9-5 and you can’t swim alone but the pool is lovely. We always have good food in Woolacombe but Brundles which u can access directly through the complex served the most delicious dinner!!

We stayed at 5 Rockham for a long weekend early September. The apartment is in a fantastic location, 5 minute walk from the beautiful Woolacombe beach and close to lots of places to eat and drink. The apartment was fantastic, spacious and finished to a very high spec it had everything you could want from a self catering apartment. Very clean and every thing thought of, including tea, coffee and milk supplied on arrival. Very quiet while we were there as just out of season. The staff at Byron were very helpful and the pool and facilities were great. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back for another visit.

We stayed as a family for a short break and this apartment was just amazing. Perfect position in the middle of Woolacombe for dining out and of course the fabulous beach. The apartment was immaculately clean and had a luxurious feel as soon as we entered . It has everything you could want even a bucket and spade provided in the storage cupboard for the little ones . The pool was a great bonus and again immaculate as it was brand new . The restaurant ” Brundles” that is attached to the apartments is equally as wonderful. Their Sunday lunch was just fabulous . I would definitely recommend this apartment.

OMG... this place is amazing. Incredible views, incredible hospitality, incredible services, we had an INCREDIBLE time! It was cosy, spotless and with the same quality linens and towels as a 5* hotel. We had the most WONDERFUL family break and really struggled to leave. Stop looking at anywhere else in Devon and choose here.

This was a clean and stylish penthouse flat with amazing views over the beach. Was great to have the facilities of the pool and games area. All staff at reception were really friendly and helpful. Want a gorgeous view of the beach? Then this flat is the one you want especially as the master bedroom has a huge glass window/door so you wake up to the sound of the sea. Great location as could walk straight onto the beach in wetsuits as so near. Beautifully furnished flat with everything you need. Kids loved the room with the bunk bed and fought over who was going to sleep in it! Brundles restaurant below the flats is brilliant and we had dinner and breakfast there a couple of times. Designated underground parking space and lift up to flat a bonus. Pool small but perfect for a dip and we used the lovely hot sauna. Would love to return!

First time staying at Byron as I think it’s quite a new complex of apartments in a plum spot walkable to the beach, restaurants etc. It was nice to stay somewhere close to the beach where there has clearly been some thought into the practicalities of trudging back from the beach covered in sand with with boards etc in tow. The outdoor storage and showers were very welcome. Our apartment was well equipped with a cooker, stove and fridge freezer and even a pint of fresh of milk in the fridge. The sofa was comfortable and there was plenty of space to put away and hang clothes in the bedroom. Staff were very friendly here and helpful both before and during our stay.

Our stay in Byron Penthouse will always hold a special place in our hearts and we had a perfect time enhanced by all the team.

We loved everything ! So close to the beach the apartment was amazing we had a lovely outside space our boys enjoyed laying in the hammock with a view of the beach . The apartment was very clean beautifully decorated towels and bedding were luxurious the kitchen was well equipped a welcome pack of tea coffee and milk was much appreciated . We ate in Brundles the onsite bar and restaurant we had Sunday lunch fantastic !We swam in the indoor pool and relaxed in the sauna very enjoyable.

This was our first Airbnb booking and we were so impressed with the apartment. It had everything we could possibly have needed, even a pint of milk which we had forgotten to pick up! The terrace is a great space with lovely outside furniture perfect for a bit of afternoon sunbathing. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Woolacombe Bay.

This Apartment was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. We had a really fantastic time. It is extremely well appointed, very clean and comfortable, and very close to the beach and town. There is a restaurant and bar on site if you do not wish to cater for yourselves. It was a bonus that a car parking space was included We are already planning a return holiday

We had a lovely short stay at 1 Middlecombe. The flat is very high spec and has everything you can think of in it including a great terrace where we enjoyed Al-Fresco dining. The beds are particularly comfy and I had some great nights sleep. The apartment complex is very, very close to the beach and to all of the cafes and restaurants. Would recommend!

Gorgeous apartment, with loads of space. Views from the balcony were incredible, and so close to the beach. Brundles restaurant was delicious, especially the unicorn milkshakes! We can't wait to go back to explore more of this beautiful part of the world.

We stayed in Woolacombe 2 for a week and absolutely loved it. The apartment is finished to a really high standard everything had a really luxurious feel to it The front of house team were massively helpful and made the stay a delight We're already thinking about booking again for the summer when hopefully the sun will make an appearance :-)

Amazing place to stay with everything you need! We stayed with my son (4) and daughter (11 months) very suitable for families and great location. Lift was great too with the buggy. Very clean and new and kitchen very well set up.

A stylish, comfortable family apartment with amazing views. More mod cons than you realised existed, intelligent use of space and all the hospitality of Woolacombe just a (private) lift ride away. As regular March visitors to Woolacombe we are used to the variable weather, making the most of the bright spells and getting our fill of ozone before retreating to safety. This apartment adds a whole new dimension to this experience - after a blustery walk on the beach we can still enjoy the luminous view while the sun, wind and rain battle it out. Meanwhile we bask in this luxurious eyrie, gathering energy for our next bracing adventure. This involves cups of tea, feet up on the chaise lounge sofa watching the rugby on the HD TV and 2 boys livestreaming videos on the free WiFi. That’s another argument avoided!

Ideally situated for Woolacombe beach, which is just a few minutes walk away. Apartment has stunning views and is extremely well equipped with everything you need for your stay. It has been beautifully and tastefully furnished. Parking space ideal too. Woolacombe itself has a great combination of eating places, bars and boutiquey type shops - all minutes from the apartment. Ideal for accessing Putsborough, Croyde and Saunton Sands too. We will be back.

We stayed at number 10 over the New Year period. The apartment was charming with amazing views. Everything you might need is on hand. Beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony watching brave surfers heading to beach which is less than a 5 minute walk. We will be back Thanks G

Spent two nights here for the New Year and what a lovely place to be. A quiet, beautifully furnished, modern penthouse apartment, with enough space for our family and couple of friends. Really liked the 2nd bedroom with its bunk bed + double bed layout, whilst the master bedroom has views out to the sea. From the Living Room you can enjoy fantastic views over the bay, encompassing the beach and the hotel gardens. The balcony was a great place to be for the Hotels fireworks at midnight on NYE. Access to the beach is just a 3-4 min walk away, local shops and restaurants are just 1-2 mins walk away, so the location is perfect. With a games room downstairs in the Apartment entrance and a very helpful team at reception, this makes for a great holiday rental. Relax and Enjoy!!
