  • Check in is from 5pm. Check out at 10am.
  • Please note arrival and departure times are set by the property manager and not Byron. These are subject to change and you will be notified of your confirmed arrival time 7 days before arrival. This includes your access to the allocated on-site parking space also.
  • The apartment is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery.
  • A welcome pack is provided including a pint of milk, tea bags, filter coffee, and cleaning supplies such as a bin liner, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, and a tea towel. These are not replenished during your stay, so please do bring any items with you if you feel you will require these.
  • Bed linen, hand and bath towels are also provided.
  • WiFi is included. However, the owner nor Byron can be responsible for any issues with connection during your stay.
  • Up to two well behaved dogs are permitted in this property for £30 per pet, per stay.
  • Access to the facilities including indoor heated swimming pool included. Guests are required to book slots via the Byron Complex Booking Page.
  • Travel cot and high chair are available. Please book at the time of booking. Guests will need to provide their own linen and mattress for a travel cot.
  • Please note all our properties are non-smoking, including patios, balconies and communal areas.
  • This property is subject to a £200 refundable security deposit.

Stunning apartment, very shocked! Everything was thought of, such as pizza cutter, tea coffee sugar, upon arrival. Staff super friendly. Pool was a dream as on my own. Couldn’t default anything. The only downside was the eateries, as out of season and hardly anywhere to go, but honestly we loved our stay and will be back. Thank you so much. We had a lovely time. We spent a wonderful week at 4 Challacombe. The apartments location is perfect being less than 5 minutes walk from the golden sands of the spectacular Woolacombe beach and a similar distance from the town and countryside but still in its own quiet spot. The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern and spacious, with large comfortable beds and a waterfall shower in the en-suite. The kitchen is well equipped and there were plenty of mugs which were a nice personal touch. An added bonus were the bi-fold doors that opened onto a private patio and secluded courtyard which meant that we could sit together, my husband Roy in the sun while I remained in the shade of the apartment. We would highly recommend a holiday in this lovely apartment.

Had a lovely short break at Byron in early November, the apartment was comfortable, well equipped & immaculately clean. We chose 4 Challacombe for easy outside access for our dog - simply out of the door, 2 sets of stairs & almost on the beach! The staff were friendly & helpful and we had a nice meal at Brundles on the terrace.

The apartment was really well kitted out and very clean. Perfect layout for a family stay. Having the patio doors out onto the courtyard was very convenient, especially with a dog. Outdoor hot showers in the complex were much needed and a real luxury in October. The apartment is brilliantly located for easy access to the beach, shops and cafes. We had a great stay, many thanks.

Enjoy the stunning Woolacombe beach with its 3 miles of gently sloping golden sands framed within the glorious greenery of Devon’s countryside.

Challacombe apartments are located at the back of the Byron complex, offering a peaceful location slightly further back from the village and local eateries.

The Challacombe Block is accessible via the Challacombe only lift at the far end of the car park. There are also stairs at this end of the car park which allow you to walk up to the apartments should you prefer.

The Challacombe Block is perfectly located to enjoy the communal leisure deck and the side access steps down to the heated outdoor surf shower and a side access path to the main road.
