Apartment Description


Chosen for its quieter location, this light and airy luxury two double bedroom apartment is on the top floor with fabulous scenic views from the master bedroom. A larger than average open plan living area and your own private balcony gives you that extra space to relax. The apartment is dog friendly, and we have set the surf shed up with extra hooks to hang any wet weather gear. Please note this is a non-smoking property.

A beautiful top floor, 2 bedroom apartment that can sleep up to 6, thanks to a double sofa bed, Middlecombe 12 is perfect for families and couples.

The bedrooms and lounge all have blackout curtains, so once the waves have lulled you to sleep you won’t be rudely woken by the day dawning. Other touches include bedside lamps with USB ports and both summer and winter duvets to help you relax in comfort.

The high spec kitchen area has an extending table seating 6. For those who like their caffeine, a Melitta coffee maker and cafetière are provided as is a Brita water filter. The large lounge area provides the perfect place to unwind after a fun packed day at the beach or enjoy a drink on your private balcony.

For those indoor days or quiet evenings, the 55” UHD TV has a free Netflix account included and there are Sonos speakers to either stream your own music or use the free Spotify account provided.

There is a laptop-sized safe for keeping your valuables protected and the Wi-Fi is private and secure.

Newly added is a rail in the shower so that you can hang any wet gear, from coats to wetsuits inside.

Good To Know


  • Check in is from 5pm. Check out at 10am.
  • Please note arrival and departure times are set by the property manager and not Byron. These are subject to change and you will be notified of your confirmed arrival time 7 days before arrival. This includes your access to the allocated on-site parking space also.
  • The apartment is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery.
  • A welcome pack is provided including a pint of milk, tea bags, filter coffee, and cleaning supplies such as a bin liner, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, and a tea towel. These are not replenished during your stay, so please do bring any items with you if you feel you will require these.
  • Bed linen, hand and bath towels are also provided.
  • WiFi is included. However, the owner nor Byron can be responsible for any issues with connection during your stay.
  • Access to the facilities including indoor heated swimming pool, gym and sauna are included. Guests are required to book slots via the Byron Complex Booking Page.
  • Please note all our properties are non-smoking, including patios, balconies and communal areas.
  • Up to two well behaved dogs are permitted in this property for £30 per pet, per stay.
  • This property is subject to a £200 refundable security deposit.

The apartment is very clean, smart and has everything you could possibly need if you were eating in or just using it as a base and out every day (home from home). It is positioned in the right area i.e. not on the main road (which can be very noisy when cars are accelerating up the hill, past experience). Short walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely rebook this apartment again.

We had a lovely time, apartment was spotless, excellent location, friendly staff and lovely facilities. Very thoughtful owners had left a little milk and some delicious biscuits to settle us in and the roll of loo after a long drive was much appreciated! Having Netflix in the evenings was great for family movies and we had a lovely view from the apartment. We would definitely come back!

We just wanted to say wow, what a fabulous building! The arrival process you provided was very clear with the keys /parking permits being easy to locate and obtain from the instructions given. The social distancing measures were clear and working well. We had a wonderful welcome from the team and they were fantastic all week. A big thank you very much again for what you all do. The apartment itself is fabulous and the attention to detail with the decor and fittings is really great. A lot of thought has also obviously been given to what equipment/ household goods are available. The tea bags and fresh milk was such a nice touch and appreciated after a long drive! Middlecombe apartments are located at the back of the Byron complex, offering a peaceful location slightly further back from the village and local eateries.
