Good To Know


  • Check in is from 5pm. Check out at 10am.
  • Please note arrival and departure times are set by the property manager and not Byron. These are subject to change and you will be notified of your confirmed arrival time 7 days before arrival. This includes your access to the allocated on-site parking space also.
  • The apartment is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery.
  • A welcome pack is provided including a pint of milk, tea bags, filter coffee, and cleaning supplies such as a bin liner, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, and a tea towel. These are not replenished during your stay, so please do bring any items with you if you feel you will require these.
  • Bed linen, hand and bath towels are also provided.
  • WiFi is included. However, the owner nor Byron can be responsible for any issues with connection during your stay.
  • Up to two well behaved dogs are permitted in this property for £30 per pet, per stay.
  • Access to the facilities including indoor heated swimming pool included. Guests are required to book slots via the Byron Complex Booking Page.
  • Travel cot and high chair are available. Please book at the time of booking. Guests will need to provide their own linen and mattress for a travel cot.
  • Please note all our properties are non-smoking, including patios, balconies and communal areas.
  • This property is subject to a £200 refundable security deposit.

A gem of a place! Clean, great facilities, close to the beach. Plus the staff went above and beyond (I accidentally left my handbag when we left). Great for teenagers to be able to walk everywhere, parking on-site. A lovely, well-priced place. Reply from Byron: We were very glad we could assist in returning your handbag to you. Great apartment, comfy beds and everything you need to self cater. Chose this apartment as it had a large patio for our dog. Easy to book the lovely pool and sauna. Easy and clear access arrangements and underground parking. Super central in Woolacombe. Had a super week in the sea, walking and visiting local area. Can recommend The Jube for an evening meal and The Watersmeet Hotel for a cream tea !

Beautiful apartment, very clean, lovely bed linen and towels. Kitchen well equipped and small welcome package (milk, tea, coffee etc) very well received. Very hilly - difficult if you have mobility problems, but that’s the geography not the apartment.

The apartment was very comfortable with everything available for self catering including a very handy washing machine. Very clean through out including the communal part and car park. Byron is ideally located, close to the beach and restaurants, making a stay in Woolacombe Bay very pleasant. We used Brundle’s restaurant a couple of time and were not disappointed, excellent food and service very attentive.

Middlecombe apartments are located at the back of the Byron complex, offering a peaceful location slightly further back from the village and local eateries.

The Middlecombe block of apartments are located closest internally to the car park entrance in the Byron development. These apartments offer easy access via the entrance in the car park with lift access to the apartment doors. No stairs in the apartments themselves.

In peak school holiday periods guests are only guaranteed one slot during their stay and can then be placed on a waiting list for further slots to ensure fairness for all.
