Top floor penthouse overlooking the multi award winning beach with a large balcony for meals or just sitting. The apartment is on one level and has two bedrooms (the main one including ensuite bathroom and smart TV). The kitchen is fully equipped with quality German appliances.

There are panoramic views of the beach and bay together with surrounding hills and the village itself. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants are within very short walking distance, there is easy access to the beach and a huge range of activities within Woolacombe itself.

For home entertainment there is a 65” TV with Sky Signature (over 100 channels), Netflix and Sky Kids included. In addition there are DVDs, books and board games for all the family. Broadband speed is very good. Byron facilities include a swimming pool, sauna and gym.

This is an apartment with easy access to activities or where you can just open the bifold doors and just soak up the atmosphere and views from the comfort of your sofa or bed.

Good To Know


  • Check in is from 5pm. Check out at 10am.
  • Please note arrival and departure times are set by the property manager and not Byron. These are subject to change and you will be notified of your confirmed arrival time 7 days before arrival. This includes your access to the allocated on-site parking space also.
  • The apartment is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery.
  • A welcome pack is provided including a pint of milk, tea bags, filter coffee, and cleaning supplies such as a bin liner, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, and a tea towel. These are not replenished during your stay, so please do bring any items with you if you feel you will require these.
  • Bed linen, hand and bath towels are also provided.
  • WiFi is included. However, the owner nor Byron can be responsible for any issues with connection during your stay.
  • Access to the facilities including indoor heated swimming pool, gym and sauna are included. Guests are required to book slots via the Byron Complex Booking Page.
  • Please note all our properties are non-smoking, including patios, balconies and communal areas.
  • Travel cot and high chair are available. Please book at the time of booking. Guests will need to provide their own linen and mattress for a travel cot.
  • This property is subject to a £200 refundable security deposit.

Beautiful apartment with amazing views. Very clean and well equipped. Great facilities - used the pool daily. Prompt replies from the reception staff re booking for the pool. Left children’s dressing gowns hanging on the door and property management team returned them promptly and wouldn’t even accept postage - amazing service! Spotlessly clean and well equipped apartment. Lovely welcome gift from the owners which was a nice touch. Great location and we were lucky with the weather so could enjoy sitting on the balcony. Our 3rd stay at Byron - never disappoints.

: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woolacombe 3. The apartment is in a great location and has beautiful views. The welcome treats were much appreciated, additionally the plentiful stock of cleaning products such as washing up liquid and soap were very useful. It is probably one of the most well stocked apartments we have stayed in. Great quality towels and fabulous showers and super comfortable beds.The pool and games rooms were used on rainy days.It was an amazing, relaxing stay.

Our second visit to Byron apartments, having stayed in Middlecombe last year. Upgraded to a sea facing apartment as is our 15 year wedding anniversary, so spent a little more than we usually would, and it did not disappoint! Check in was seamless and the apartment spotless. Being able to sit out on the balcony and look out over Woolacombe any time night or day was amazing. All the things we could possibly need were in this apartment including some books, games and dvds. The best accommodation we have stayed in for a UK holiday!

Super stay for our granddaughter’s birthday This is our second time at this apartment and it was fabulous. It’s beautifully presented and has everything you need for a relaxed holiday The balcony is a haven to enjoy the sunshine, watch the sunset and generally soak up beautiful Woolacombe The Byron team are so friendly and helpful The pool is a great addition and we took advantage of this facility even though the weather was amazing! The apartment was beautiful and in show house condition. It had everything we could want at hand The furnishings were all luxurious with crisp white duvets and proper fluffy white bath sheets Amazing views, great location with the beach less than a minute walk Restaurants and bars similar and we received a warm welcome at all those we ate at. Would highly recommend The Beach House where the food was special - lovely locally created menu Superb golf at Saunton less than 20 mins away The team at Byron were great sorting our last minute booking especially Olivia whose customer service skills were exemplary We will be booking this one again.

Our trip to Woolacombe at the penthouse Woolacombe 3 was nothing short of a delight. A well needed mental retreat with beautiful surroundings and apartment facilities. Everything was clean upon arrival, user guide manuals and handbooks to assist on facility instructions, local must-see and day trip recommendations alongside very clear instructions on what to do upon arrival/checkout. Needless to say, the penthouse felt like home instantly as well as throughout the duration of our stay and being 4 minutes from bed to beach was magical. You can’t put a price on what you get out of staying in Woolacombe apartment 3. 11/10 recommended and thank you so much for our stay. We can’t wait for future visits.

This apartment is absolutely amazing . We booked it as a bit of a treat, very luxurious , beds comfortable, and very well equipped. The big draw for us was the amazing view, and this lived up to expectations. Seeing the sea from my your bed is idyllic and also from the lounge whilst relaxing on the sofas. We appreciated the use of the bodyboards and also the kind gift of some local wine in the fridge when we arrived.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful apartment. All the furniture was new and the beds and sofa (with extending leg rest!) were so comfortable. The crockery and utensils were extremely high quality and as were all the electrical appliances. Cot / high chair available (though we did not need them) and information packs were well presented - even a selection of board games for wintry wet days! Main apartment facilities excellent and we played several games of pool in the reception area. An excellent choice for a Summer or Winter break. We will surely be back to no 3! Thank you x

Our stay at 3 Woolacombe west was everything we had hoped for and more! Perfectly located to explore Woolacombe and nearby villages and coast. Easy assess to southwest coast path for walks. Easy contactless check-in and check out. The apartment is well equipped with high-end appliances, a super comfortable sofa and a bed. There are some handy bits to use at the beach such as a mat and parasol. The bifold doors and view from the main bedroom and lounge are absolutely amazing, the perfect spot for breakfast and an evening glass of wine watching the sunset. We didn’t use the pool/sauna as had amazing weather so too busy outside and at the beach! We would highly recommend the apartment to others, although It sells itself I think!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Woolacombe West apartments are located right at the front of the Byron complex, overlooking the village and Brundle’s Bar and Restaurant. You couldn’t wish to be any closer to the action!

Woolacombe 1, 2 and 3 Penthouse apartments entrance is located before the car park entrance into the Byron development. No stairs in the apartments themselves but there are steps required outside of the apartment to the front doors. These apartments are well located for access from Sandy Lane down to the beach.

Woolacombe West 4 – 11 apartments are accessible via external front doors found in the car park level. Do not leave the car park to find the front doors to these apartments. They are actually down the steps to the right of the allocated parking bays. These provide quick access from unloading and unpacking the car to the front door!
