North Devon Surf School

Nick Thorn Surf Coaching is a Putsborough, North Devon based surf school.

They offer Level 4 Master Surf Coach surf sessions for beginners, intermediate and advanced surf development. The sessions are fun and safe for all people from 6-80 years of age. We also offer Stand Up Paddle boarding, Coasteering, Junior Lifeguard and Lifeguard training specific sessions.

Putsborough is one of those hidden gems of the North Devon Beaches. Facing West into the open Atlantic and part of Woolacombe bay, the 3 mile beach offers a wide range of activities, surfing is one of those addictive and passionate sports that we offer at Nick Thorn Surf Coaching. The surf at Putsborough caters for beginners and advanced surfers. With a laid back and enthusiastic, warm welcoming staff, we will offer an experience you will want to come back again and again.

Putsborough have a fantastic cafe right on the beach. There is also accommodation available the Putsborough Sands. Clean toilets and cold showers.
