Woolacombe also holds the ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday.

Woolacombe Beach lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water.

Open Air Theatre Show at Clovelly Court – Wednesday 14th July, 7pm

Are you a Shakespeare fanatic? Don’t miss out on the production of ‘Jack Dean & Co. – Hero & Leander, or, I Love You, But Everything’s Under Water‘ at Clovelly Court on Wednesday 14th July at 7pm. Watch six multi-instrumentalists tell an epic seaside tale through songs encompassing folk, indie, sea shanties and choral music.

Take a Tractor and Trailer Safari from Mortehoe Museum to Bull Point Lighthouse

With so many excellent sights on your doorstep at Byron, why not take the tractor and trailer out to Bull Point with the Mortehoe Museum team? It’s a great way to marvel at the dramatic views on the drive down towards Bull Point, whilst learning more about the area’s fascinating history. 

Starting every Tuesday from Tuesday 20th July at 10:30am and 12pm, tickets are available to book now at Woolacombe TIC or Mortehoe Museum
