The Grampus Inn, Lee Bay

The Grampus is set in the heart of one of North Devon’s most picturesque coastal villages. Parts of the building date back to the 14th Century, and until the 1970s, was a working farm. Although little known, it is very popular with residents and holiday makers alike and was awarded a Top Pub status in the North Devon Pub Guide 2004.

Families and children are catered for and the pub holds a variety of ales, lagers and organic wines – check out their gin collection!

The Grampus also holds regular live music events, with an open mic’ night every Friday from 9pm.

Wavelength Spring Classic music festival

Wavelength Spring Classic – 1-4th June, Woolacombe Bay

Next June will see the beautiful Devon coastline play host to the Spring Classic festival, offering an action-packed line-up of surf, skate, music, food and entertainment for all ages across the ultimate weekend.

The music line-up includes the likes of Arrested Development, Cassia, Los Bitchos, BCUC and Gardna.

This eclectic music festival also plays host to a very popular surf invitational, allowing punters to watch some of the UK’s best surfers showing off their skills on the stunning banks of Combesgate beach. 

If you are looking for a festival that caters for the young, the old and the in-between this is a surefire hit for you!

Oceanfest – 16th-18th June Croyde Bay

Blending laidback beach life with an eclectic array of music Oceanfest has been running for 25 years this year!

Lets Rock – Exeter 1st July Exeter

Bear Grylls’ Gone Wild Festival – 24th – 27th August – Kenton near Exeter

The family-friendly Gone Wild Festival is set to return for the third time in August.

The festival is packed with a range of fun activities, including kayaking, Military Fit family group workouts, a purpose-built obstacle course, abseiling and climbing. Expert instructors from the Bear Grylls Survival Academy will teach children and adults essential survival skills such as shelter building, fire lighting and campfire cooking.

What’s more, the music stages will be headlined by a brilliant line-up, including Feeder, Sugarbabes and the Ministry of Sound Orchestra. This is set to be an unforgettable festival at Powderham Castle.
