“Be local, buy local, stay local”

Delivering fresh, quality local produce, straight to your door, all within the North Devon area.

Where we’ve come from

Local Farm Box’s mission is to work with local farmers, growers and producers as much as possible, offering our customers the best quality fresh produce available. Purchasing your fresh vegetables, fruits, salads, meats, and dairy products from Local Farm Box means that you will be directly contributing to the local economy – helping to put the £ back into local producers’ pockets, saving on green miles and your time in the shops when you should be enjoying your holiday.

Our aim is to be the number one delivery service of fresh produce to customers within the catchment area of North Devon, covering the coast from Bude to Minehead, around to South Molton & Barnstaple & Bideford areas. We believe we have shared values with our customers – as fellow believers of eating local produce – hence our strap line ~ Buy local ~ Eat Local ~Stay Local.

Summary of our service:

  • Huge range of fresh produce sourced from local farmers, growers and producers
  • Next-day delivery option for orders
  • Our weekly boxes are signficantly cheaper than if purchased via the supermarket
  • Secure online shopping

Meet the Farmbox family

Ian is the 4th generation in his family business Edd’s Greengrocers in Illfracombe, with over 20 year’s experience him-self with buying, selling and delivering fruits, vegetables and other produce to the catering trade – pubs, restaurants, hotels, schools, and shops. What Ian doesn’t know about this trade you could write on the back of… a carrot! Ian’s a keen surfer of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton, and can be often seen carving through the waves (and novice visiting surfers!) on his longboard! Ian’s always been a keen sportsman, and has made it his mission to get on his bike more regularly – and maybe regain some of the old glory!
